The Furniture Clinic Teak Oil is fantastic—I'm loving how easy it is to use! It absorbs quickly, restoring and protecting my wooden furniture with a beautiful natural matte finish. I used the teak oil on some ten- year-old garden furniture and it gave great results, making them look much newer but keeping some character. As you would expect the items I kept in a shed over the winter have lasted better than those left out all year. The product deserves five-star but I have marked it down a bit as the bottle top (squeeze and turn anti-clockwise) was so difficult to open that I had to put a fairly hefty pair of pliers to it. I have not had the same problem with similar tops before. (I do realise the oil would be dangerous to a child if they drank it.) Also the tall thin bottle does look very elegant, but must add to the chance of knocking it over and I guess this product would not enhance a beautiful driveway or decking. But perhaps this is a quibble. Pretty good overall.

Seems a cut above other teak oils. Slightly thicker too but easy to apply, I used a "Woodwork Stain & Varnish Paint Brush". I did give my garden table a sand down first to clean off any dirt. Teak furniture left untreated invariably fades to a grey. This restores a nice brown colour although slightly darker than the original colour when new. I've used this last Summer and now again this Spring and it seems to protect the wood well. Happy to recommend.

Easy to apply product with a sponge, and leaves a nice colour on the wood and little wastage.

Used on some new teak furniture that looked a bit 'dry' when it was delivered. Easy to apply and the wood has absorbed quite a lot initially resulting in the colour changing from a light teak to a mid mahogany. I quite like the colour but it's a few shades darker. As with most teak oils it does have a slight brown tint but I think the colour change is more to do with the wood absorbing oils rather than any pigment. A week after application we've had torrential rain and water is just beading up and running off so it seems to be OK. Not sure how often it'll need reapplying yet, the table top looks like it might benefit from another wipe. You do need to give it a very, very good buff with a clean cloth once it's dried, any surplus oil rubs off and leave brown marks on clothing. As others have noted, don't apply this to anything whilst on a patio as the drips will leave oily marks, possibly forever

My wooden garden furniture was very battered, I’ve had it 2 years and it’s not been treated at all in that time. So it was in a rather sorry state. I started off by giving it a quick sand down, and then used the furniture clinic teak cleaner. Once it was dry I applied the first coat of teak oil. As it was in such a state, the wood was so dry, it literally soaked it up like a sponge! I’ve done 4 coats in total. Could probably use another coat on the really worn areas, but my furniture looks amazing now!!! I gave it a quick squirt with the hose to check water resistance, and the water just beaded and ran off completely. I bought 2 bottles, and 1 bottle was sufficient in the end. Would definitely recommend. I’ve added photos to give an idea of what it was before and after. 1st photo is half way through sanding it down, 2nd is after the teak cleaner. 3rd photo is after 1 coat of teak oil, and the last 2 pictures are after 4 coats.

Product as advertised. Works well.

The oil quality is good especially fir teak wood and rose wood furniture.

Ottimo. Applicato con microfibra ma un pennello a spugna anche x arrivare nelle fessire avrebbe aiutato meglio. Sotto sedia trattata a sinistra e mai trattata a destra.

Super für unsere Gartenmöbel. Das Öl zieht gut ein. Der leichte Geruch war nach einem Tag verflogen. Das Holz, vor der Behandlung teilweise leicht ausgeblichen, sieht wieder frisch aus.
