I had just purchased a new Lenovo which has no HDMI ports. I was looking for a device that would give me dual HDMI outputs along with extra USB ports. Another great feature is the card reader. I was happy it had this as I did not want to buy another separate device. Once I got it, I immediately plugged it into my thunderbolt port. I then connected my 2 monitors ( which are a bit older which gave me cause for concern ) and they both came on and worked with no issues. Next I used 2 of the USB ports for my wireless keyboard and mouse, no issues there as well. I then tried the card reader with an SD card, no issue there either. Later on I did try the additional USB ports to charge some phones etc. Another great thing is that I was given a laptop from work, which is a Dell, which surprisingly has a USB-C port. I say that because it is a couple of years old at this point. I unplugged it from my new laptop and connected it to my work laptop and everything worked. I was very surprised and extremely happy that it "just worked". Now I can switch between laptops instantly and with no issues. This is a great all in one device for someone looking for a quality, inexpensive option. There are a couple of small things I think can be improved upon. First, although the quality seems fine, it is plastic, it would be nice if it was a bit thicker or made from metal with cooling vents. Secondly, when I put in the SD card into the reader, it stuck out about 90% of the way, it does not go in very far. It worries me a bit because it someone where to knock into it accidentally, I feel it can break off inside. Probably won't happen, just would feel better if it went in almost all the way. And lastly, the cable from the unit to the USB-C port is very very short, only about 4 inches. I did buy and waiting for an extension cable, but would be nice if this came with a cable that is at least 12". Only a few small things I have found so far. I highly recommend this product!

I ordered this USB C hub / laptop docking station primarily to support my desktop monitors, which it does well with a caveat. I have a 2019 Mac Book Pro and I needed to connect it to a couple of monitors that I have had for several years. My monitors support HDMI and since this product has two HDMI connectors, I figured I would be in business. Well, it didn't work out exactly as I hoped, but there are other upsides. I don't know if it is a limitation of this product or a Mac limitation, but when I have both monitors plugged into the docking station only one monitor is recognized. I got around this issue by using an HDMI to USB C connector and plugging one monitor directly into the Mac Book and the other into the docking station. Now both monitors are recognized and work perfectly. I don’t see this as too big a deal since the docking station provides so many connectors that I don’t mind taking up another Mac USB C connector. So that’s the caveat. The upside, which I didn’t expect, is that this is a very small unit (compared to other docking stations). It’s about the size of my hand and comes with a cloth case. As such, it easily finds a space in my backpack. I travel to customers for work and it is very handy when I have to give presentations and connect other non-USB C components to my Mac Book.

So, I'll start off by stating - this seems like a decent USB-C hub. Even more so for a traveling consultant such as myself. It's compact and comes with a nice fabric carrying bag. A friend of mine also purchased this hub about a month ago and it's been working great for him. Me - not so much. Much like one of the other reviewers, which I did not see at the time of purchase, is experiencing intermittent screen flickering on one of the monitors. That was my experience as well. It's not frequent enough that hub was unusable, but frequent enough that it's annoying and getting returned. My gut tells me this is because I was not powering this device externally to it's own USB-C PD port, but rather drawing the power from my laptop via the host device USB-C port. My machine requires a 170w power supply (well above what this hub is capable of) so I knew this hub was not going to be able to power it directly so the machine is still being powered by the external power supply as well. So, with the exception of the screen flickering - this device worked great. No other issues, displays were great and all the devices I had plugged into it worked as expected. I would have liked to work, given it's a great price point as compared to other USB-C hubs with simple capabilities - especially having/supporting 2 HDMI ports, but nonetheless - returning it for something with a little more oomph behind it. Also, I would add - don't buy this device if you're looking for a "cable management" solution like a traditional dock. The host device connection cable is very short and given the compact design, this turns into a mess of cables going in all directions.

I bought this to replace the clunky Dell docking station that I had. My laptop has a displayport capable usb 3 c (thunderport) - important if you are going to run monitors directly from the unit. I have two LG 27" monitors and my laptop is in the middle. Most things work, I have a bluetooth usb mouse that does not work when plugged into the dock, but not sure where the issue is and it's no problem to leave the bt dongle in the laptop since now I am only using the usb 3 c port now. The monitors come on and work fine, occasionally I get a darkout for a few seconds, again not sure if it is the laptop or the docking station, but it is still a lot more convenient. The unit has a quality feel, with a little heft and brushed aluminum case. It comes with a nice bag for storage, that also works well for cleaning your phone screen. I would buy it again as it is a good choice and one of the lesser expensive options. Key - Make sure your computer has a displayport capable usb 3 c port (thunderport). The correct port will have a little lightning bolt icon next to it. My personal laptop has a 3c, but alas not displayport capable so I am still swapping HDMI cables when on for personal business.

My desktop tower started to die. Purchased a display model laptop from one of the chains. I needed to hook up a bunch of things ( real keyboard, real mouse, nice screen, external terabyte drive, cat-5 ethernet, my phone, printer, etc.) After watching some YouTube videos, and racking my brain, I ordered this one. Past experience says Amazon Choice is usually a safe bet. This multi port device is working out well.

I have a Dell laptop for work and a Microsoft Surface Book 2 as a personal laptop. I had been researching docking stations that would be compatible with both a lighting cable and a usb-c cable but wasn't finding any that were reasonably priced. I decided to take a change on this docking station and I'll be honest, I'm glad I did! This docking station is small so it doesn't take up a lot of room on my desktop which is nice. I can connect my mouse, keyboard, two HDMI monitors and ethernet cable to it. It has additional USB slots in the front which is great for easy access. The only thing I wish it came with was a USB-C charging cable so that when I connect my laptops, the docking station would automatically charge as well. I bought one off of Amazon though and it works great. This docking station is better than the $300 Dell Docking stations that we are required to buy thru work. It is not flimsy and it is super portable. Great buy!

This is a Great device for what it promises. It did come with a variety or ports. And looks very nice etc . However there are a few things your really should know. If want to use this item to attach additional monitors and your Laptop's power adapter isnt USB-C , you wont be able to plug into the hub's USB-C Power Delivery port. (because thats the only option) And the additional monitors will not work. Also buying an additional 75W- 72W (min recommended power supply) power adapter is a bit pricey. The VGA port did not work on the item I received. (Yes i did try multiple cables and monitors) The Micro SD card slot also did not work. However the (larger) slot for the micro sd card adapter did work. All the Other USB ports did work just fine. Quick and easy. Plug and play. However, This little device got very hot to the touch. So hot that I was very concerned about having it on my desk. It remained very hot , even when I removed all other devices and had only 1 USB dongle plugged in for my wireless mouse and keyboard. Which was very much alarming. The description does have a partial list of compatible laptops. But the comments did say that any laptop will work. For the cost Avg amazon cost of $70USD. To have the unfortunate experience of this item not being something that works for you , may just be as easy as returning it etc. But if you are ordering from another country (like myself), It may end up costing you more than what you spent on the item, just to return it. I had such high hopes for this item, mainly because of all the good reviews. And having to work from home now due to covid-19 restrictions. You try to make the work space a bit easier . Unfortunately , I did not have the best experience for this product. And I would have to not recommend this product. spend your money elsewhere.

The hub worked as expected right out of the box just as it should...no big whoop here; however, by day 4 the hub would not allow the laptop to 'find' or I.D. either monitor; after troubleshooting the issue with no luck, a scouring of the web brought me back to their specs which states "2 x 4K-HDMI ports support resolutions up to 3840 x 2160@30Hz with dual HDMI displays attached." Currently, I am running a much lower resolution (1920x1080) at 60 Mhz for both HDMI monitors, which simply does not provide enough power for dual monitors; and since VGA is obsolete (yes, sometimes legacy ports are still required for 32 bit applications), this port serves no use to me. The wife was bummed so she switched to a mini-desktop while I began to use the hub with no problem whatsoever (for the record, I am only using one HDMI external monitor at 1920x1080/60Mhz). I will continue to use it for I think it's a good product (it was great until it stopped supporting dual HDMI monitors) and it serves its purpose. If the company can address this issue, then I will change my rating to 5 stars. The problem itself appears to be the HDMI ports, which are rated at 30 Mhz each. It's a good hub (except for the aforementioned) so I hope the company addresses the issue for future customers. Cheers!

Dieser Thunderbolt 3 Hub passt meinem Macbook pro 16 Zoll sehr gut. Da mein Macbook nur Thunderbolt 3 Anschluss hat, muss ich immer verschiedene Adapter kaufen. Die originale Apple-Adapter haben nicht so viele Funktionen und sind ziemlich teuer. Ich muss deshalb viele verschiedene Adapter kaufen, für USB-Stick, VGA-Anschluss, HDMI-Monitor usw.. Dieser Adapter hat sogar zwei HDMI Anschlüsse und SD- und TF-Leser(Für mein DSLR und GO Pro). Mein täglicher Bedarf wird demzufolge erfüllt. Ich kann einfach dieses Produkt empfehlen.

ich habe dieses Gerät für mein MacBook gekauft, da es nur zwei USB-C besitzt. Nach dem Aufbau und der Einstellung der Dockingstation ist es sehr bequem meine Maus, Tastatur und zwei Monitoren gleichzeitig zu verbinden. Überraschenderweise ist es auch möglich, das Ladegerät auch gleichzeitig eingebunden werden kann und ich brauche nicht mehr um die Stromversorgung selbst zu kümmern. Außerdem habe auch die SD-Karte Slot schon mal getestet, es funktioniert genau sowie erwartet. Nun brauche ich nicht mehr jedes Mal viele Kabel einzustecken bevor ich meine Arbeit anfange. Ich kann ja schon sagen, dass ich diese Dockingstation weiterempfehlen werde.
