Classic USB Super Nintendo SNES Controller for PC

It's actually a pretty nice controller for the price. Of course it's not going to feel like the original, which is why I bought it hoping I could put its PCB into a real snes controller. Turns out you can! The plastic molds are strikingly similar, only had to drill one hole in the PCB between the start and select buttons, and widen a couple other holes, and I was set, everything lines up perfectly. I also soldered on the shoulder switches from the official controller because they feel better and because using the shoulder switches from the USB version would have required some plastic cutting.So now I have an official Nintendo controller with a USB interface! Awesome!

These work OK. I have been using them with a Raspberry Pi for NES and SNES gaming. The D-pad is a bit on the mushy side and it is not always easy to move in the right direction. The other buttons work well. The price was great though, so I can't complain too much.

I ordered 2 to use with a retro-pi project, and they are configured easily enough, however the D-Pad leaves something to be desired as it's not very accurate and you'll find yourself moving in a lot of diagonals instead of straight. Works well enough for most games though.

I was going on vacation with my family and i ordered 4 different controllers to play some retro games with my family.Well... This one was the only one with poor quality. The buttons stop working in day 2, i don't have a whole week with these controller and it is useless.

Junk, what else to expect from a $8 controller.It is very inaccurate . When I press backwards the character jumps I press forward and it jumps!Spend few more bucks and buy a decent controller.

D-Pad is very low quality, you can press up+down+left+right on it at the same time as it does not have a pivot point in the center. It almost always registers a diagonal direction when trying to press up/down/left/right by themselves. So when trying to move right in a sidescroller type game, I end up ducking and not moving at all.L/R Buttons make loud clicking noises. Start/Select are rubber, they feel nice. A/B/X/Y feel mushy, but very usable.Overall cheap quality, and with the D-Pad problem I find this unusable.

I really liked this controller at first. It didn't feel authentic but it worked and that was all that mattered. After about a month they stopped connecting properly and they slowly died. I didn't mistreat it or wrap the wire tight or anything like that. I bought two of them and this happened to both so I'm pretty sure the problem is consistent.

Bon vu le prix je ne m'attendais pas à des merveilles et je l'ai pris pour son coté rétro supernes. Le plastique est médiocre et l'ensemble parait fragile... Bon passe encore. Mais le pire du pire c'est la croix directionnel. Autant les bouton A B X Y start select L R fonctionnent plutôt bien, autant la direction... c'est inutilisable, clairement. En faite vous allez dans une direction, mais avec le manque de précision et bien par exemple vous utiliser le direction "haut" la direction gauche ou droite s'active en même temps. Du coup pour un jeu de plateforme on va a gauche, à droite, on saute sans raison... bref à oublier

Si quelqu'un a l'intelligence, contrairement à moi, de regarder les commentaires avant d'acheter ce produit, et bien bonne initiative.En dehors du fait qu'il s'agisse d'une manette cheap avec un emballage très, très léger (chose que j'approuve totalement si ça fait baisser le prix de vente), on pourra remarquer que la qualité de fabrication est complètement affligeante: en appuyant sur une des directions de la croix directionnelle, on a deux chance sur trois d'appuyer en fait sur une direction adjacente. Bref, si vous voulez vous servir de cette manette pour jouer aux jeux vidéos (ce qui est généralement le cas), je vous conseille de vous placer un bandeau sur les yeux, vous aurez autant de chances d'effectuer une action cohérente, mais au moins, vous ne verrez pas le résultat.

The item is cheap, bad quality. The buttons do not respond well or fluidly, the case doesn't look really solid. Even the look is only a poor imitation of the Nitendo's SNES controller.
