Fluance PA10 High Fidelity Phono Preamp (Preamplifier) with RIAA Equalization for MM Turntables/Vinyl Record Players

I have a Fluance RT81 Elite turntable, and this preamp DEFINITELY kicked up the quality of the sound by a notch or two. Gives the audio much more muscle, cleaner lows, and a punchy bass. I have Fluance bookshelf speakers, and before purchasing this preamp I had to turn the speakers all the way up to really get blasting. After purchasing the preamp, I am about 5 notches below max volume and that is more than enough. Easy to set up and well worth the money!

I own a Fluance RT85 turntable, which I absolutely love. There was just one problem, a persistent hum coming from my Klipsch 'The Sixes' active speakers. The speakers have a built-in amp, as well as phono preamp so I should have had everything to deliver great sound from my setup. I even upgraded all cabling to Morrow cables however could not get rid of the darn hum. I decided to purchase a separate preamp and Wow! I am glad I did. Upon connecting my turntable to this preamp, the hum immediately disappeared. Now, the speakers are dead silent when the turntable is on with nothing playing. I also noticed an improvement in the sound quality. My music sounds more crisp and clear. This preamp is highly recommended, and not just for Fluance turntables. It delivered on all its promises. Well worth the money!

This preamp works well with my Fluance RT 85 turntable (great turntable by the way). I have a phono input built into an Onkyo amp but the sound from the phono connection was soft and lame even at higher volumes. Everything else with the amp was good so I didn't want to return it (the connection worked but it seemed underpowered). I talked to Fluance and they suggested that I try this preamp to see if that solved the problem (excellent customer service btw). I connected this to the CD input (any input other than phono would work) and the sound now is perfect--good volume and clarity. One thing to pass along--I did not need a ground from the pre-amp to the amplifier (no hum without that ground). The turntable is grounded to the preamp.

Works great I purchased Florence turntable speakers and sub looks great together. Wished I had a better receiver.

I had the Fosi audio tube phono amp and have been fighting with it for a long time. Nothing against the Fosi, maybe just not compatible with the Fluance tt. But I was always experiencing lots of rumble, hiss, etc. and in excessive amounts. Tried everything and with the great reviews of the Fosi just thought possibly I had a bad turntable or something. Grounding was perfect, etc. Still SOOOOOO much rumble .. and my turntable is not close to my speakers. Finally decided to try the Fluance phono preamp and the difference is unreal! Really glad I took a chance on this to pair with my Fluance RT83. I originally had it paired with a much cheaper phono stage and I really wasn't happy with the sound. I was looking at changing my speakers and amp so this has saved me lots of money! The sound was really lifted and now my records sound fantastic!

Solid unit. Very clean, clear and excellent sound output. Gets out of the way and does its job without adding or subtracting anything.

I cobbled together a sound system using “vintage” equipment and needed a pre-amp for my turntable. This unit fit the bill perfectly. My old records sound better than ever with noticeably less surface noise and a well balanced frequency response. I have only used it for a few days but hopefully it will provide lasting value.
