Mens Windbreaker Jackets Lightweight Packable Jacket,Windproof and Dustproof

I very rarely leave reviews. I feel guilty about that since reviews are one of the things I like most about shopping from Amazon and I've learned to be generally confident with the assessments of the crowd. I buy a lot on Amazon, from clothes (including shoes) to supplies, I've been a customer since around 2000, and yet it is unusual for me to feel compelled to leave a review, particularly for such a low cost item. However, in this case, I'm so pleased with how perfect this jacket has been for me. It far exceeded my expectations around the use I planned for it. I just returned from a month in Europe and what I loved about this jacket is how lightweight it is, how small it can be rolled and tucked into my waist belt or shoulder bag, and yet how effective it is and also actually pleasing to the eye. I would bring this jacket with me for the occasional afternoon or evening shower in Greece and Germany, but even got used to wearing it to cut the morning or evening chill, and for running when it was chilly. I don't think I've been this pleased with anything I else I've bought in terms of the value to the price paid ratio. The only negative I can point out is that you need to be careful zippering the jacket closed the first dozen or so times you wear it, or the zipper will catch on fabric and get stuck. It's not hard to unstick though, and it gets smoother after the first week. Other than that initial caution, the jacket itself is awesome. I will actually order a few more and just keep them in my closet until I need them out of fear these won't be available at some point in the future! ;)

The green was perfect and just the right size for our Grandson. He wants to keep it in his golf bag for surprise showers and maybe windy early mornings! Fair price and shipped as promised and great product.

Very thin but that's what I want in a windbreaker. Not jacket quality but rather packable wind blocker. Some ppl don't like that the wind flap can grab the zipper but simply leading with a fingertip can avoid that. Plenty of pockets, neck protection, sewn in netting at shoulder area. I'm 5'7" 155-160 lbs. and this fits perfectly.

I've been looking for years for an actual windbreaker. Not a jacket that is hot on a sunny day but a jacket thats cool and has zippered pockets for windy days on or near the lake, as well as out and about. To simply stop the wind and not overheat. I'm a 4xlt and this jacket fits perfectly. After at least 10 years or so am officially retiring my old old ols windbreaker. Yahoo im sooo happy i found this. I will be buying more as a backup in the case I cannot find one again in the future. Fishermen get this it really is perfect, and can be used on colder nights as a wind shell fir a sweatshirt.

Ridiculous wind flap for the zipper. An otherwise very nice, lightweight jacket, ruined by a poorly designed, thin wind flap for the zipper. It's nearly impossible to zip the jacket without the thin material of the wind flap getting caught in the zipper. Then it takes three hands to hold the wind flap to the side, while pulling down on the jacket to keep the zipper straight, while pulling the zipper tab upward or downward, to allow the zipper to slide off of the thin, obnoxious wind flap. While wind flaps are standard for jackets, this one is formed from the same fabric as the jacket, which doesn't lie flat, causing it to become caught in the zipper mechanism essentially every time the zipper is fastened. An additional, heavier and thicker strip of material sandwiched into the wind flap would likely fix this crucial flaw. The zipper itself is usable, but the wind flap beside the zipper should be reinforced by a heavier, stiffer material to keep it from constantly getting caught in the zipper. This design issue ruins an otherwise very serviceable, comfortable, and well made garment.

Exactly what I was looking for. An extra non-waterproof windbreaker layer for cool weather and light showers. Amazon warning says it runs large but I didn't find that to be true, and I kept the L and returned a M that I bought in the same order in case they really were baggy. The color I bought (OD green, no hood) didn't come with the clear zip vinyl tube but does fold and roll small enough to fit into a sock for packing. As with any windbreaker or rain jacket (excepting some softshells) I need a layer underneath it for insulation. Long sleeved shirt in summer, polartec in winter. If you don it over a tee or short-sleeved polo, you're gonna get cold if it rains.

I’m 6 ft 1 in, 190 lbs, based on others comments, I thought XL vs L would be too big, but I got XL anyway. Glad I did it fits me fine, L would be too small. It is what I wanted, a light windbreaker. Having said that, it is quite thin. Does not have a hood. As others said, the zipper does catch but just take your time and it’s ok.

The sizing is accurate and it's very well made. I love that the pockets all have zippers, so you don't lose your keys or sunglasses. The design issue I have is with the material behind the zipper. This tends to fold up and get caught in the zipper. Then you have to spend 5 minutes trying to get the material out of the zipper.

If you are looking for a lightweight, keeps the wind off & keeps you warm, packs into it's own pocket, rain resistant Jacket - look no further - this is BRILLIANT........so much so, I actually bought 2 for myself, a black & a blue one. Totally worth the money - worth it indeed - as ordered one for a friend who counts their pennies. This is one product you won't regret buying.
