Mineral Fusion Liquid Foundation Neutral 2, 1 Oz

I love this foundation make up. It’s wonderfully innocent of harmful ingredients. Mineral Fusion foundation is verified by EWG, the research outfit that analyzes a variety of products for toxic chemicals and rates safety. I shutter to think of how many of us have been rubbing unsafe make-up into our skins year after year. Mineral Fusion goes on smoothly and gives skin a nice fresh glow. It comes in so many shades that I had no trouble finding a perfect match for my skin tone (Neutral 2). It offers light coverage. But I apply an extra coat to the areas of my face that need it, and that works beautifully. I also reapply a bit after wearing a face mask, because some color does rub off. But in general, by the end of the day, my face looks as nicely made up as it did in the morning. Up till now, I could only find Mineral Fusion at my local health food market. So when they shut down after a Covid episode, I was greatly relieved to find this make-up on Amazon.

I wanted to love this product but I am trying to find something with better coverage similar to tarte foundation. This is very watery to me and does not have a pump which I find to be more sanitary and allows for less waste of product. Will be returning but this would probably be good for something looking for lighter coverage and possible build it up.

I love this foundation. I discovered it by researching the Environmental Working Group's database as I searched for make up that was less toxic. It goes on smoothly and provides just the right amount of sheer coverage. I have very pale skin and blue-green eyes. I use a light face powder over it. The only reason I deducted a star is the bottle it's contained in. The bottle is tall and there's no pump, so it's difficult to get the product out of the bottle. I transferred mine into a recycled pump-style bottle and am trying to get the remaining product out of the bottom of the bottle so it's not wasted. Other than that, the foundation is my favorite foundation ever, especially since it has the blessing of the EWG.

This is a nice product for younger skin but if you have any wrinkles not so good. After primer dried I applied foundation with sponge applicator. Color and coverage was great but every 5 minutes I had to sponge out the product that settled into the creases. Continued to do this until most of the foundation was gone. I will give this to my daughter as it is a good product. Just not for older skin.
