PMP: Reading Comprehension, 2nd Edition (Gr. 3)

I purchased this book for my son to help push him forward with reading. The stories are awesome, short, and very informative. My son actually enjoy the book. He does a story a day. Another thing that make this great is the answer key for those stories that come across as an educational guess. Just get the book if you have a young child.

Bought this as a supplement for our novel reading. Love the short stories. There is a variety of topics and the questions after are just the right toughness. I wish it were a bit longer or there was a book 2!

It reinforces what is learned in school. It reinforces what is learned in school. I like to limit computer and TV time during the weekends, vacation, and Holidays. The workbooks are also great for kids that did not grasp the concepts during classroom time or just need a little more examples. I would recommend this to anyone having problems with their child or just to keep them busy and off the couch.

A bunch of passages about a 2/3 to a full page long with a series of multiple choice questions on the opposite side. Good for reviewing. My child can refer to the passage easily when working in the questions.

Very useful and the layout is quite useful for independent work.

My 9yr old daughter was struggling with comprehending what she read. This book has helped out a lot!!

This is a good reading comprehension book. I bought it for my 2nd grader. We read the stories and do the question together. He also does them on his own.

Many of these stories and expressions were dated for kids of this generation. Also, could have done without the several pages of recipes and instructions for planting, as that is not the type of test my child would receive at school. Lastly, we found a couple of errors in the book.
