Boys' Printed Rain Boots

Picture is a little deceiving of the raining dogs print, they look pink but don't worry they are definetly red! I ordered the matching coat which is lined with a crayon red terry cloth so I was confident in the color prior to ordering. A few of the printed images are distorted and stretched but you can't really tell at first glance.As far as size they ran a little smaller than expected. My son loves rain boots and currently has a pair of crocs in size 11 so I ordered these in a 12 for when he grew out of his current pair. When you account for the added fabric and narrower cut they fit more like an 11 so you may want to order up in size.Comparison to Crocs:-Crocs are thinner, lighter, and one solid piece. Hatley is several pieces and materials glued together.-Hatley brand has a strong smell initially that the Crocs didn't.-Hatley is more narrow and taller.-Hatley is lined and the sole is made of a heavier rubber that is grippier and prevents slipping.-Crocs has a few fun prints but Hatley wins in looks and has far more options that are appealing to young children.If your debating on these or Crocs I would say it definetly depends on your child's foot. If they have average/thin feet I'd go with Hatley, wider foot definetly go with Crocs. Also, If you're child is intending to wear them as regular shoes even without rain (like my 4yr old!) Crocs may be a better purchase as they are lighter and don't slow them down as much. We definitely prefer Crocs as far as fit and functionality but my son loves the prints so well probably order another pair down the line.

Great boot overall. Comfortable inside and very stylish. My lil guy was SO happy when he opened the box. The firetruck print was perfect for him right now. He is 4 and wears a little kid 12, it was slightly large but with thick socks works great. Definitely recommend for those who love fire trucks.

These boots were bought for a 5 year old who loves sharks. They fit true to size and he loves them. They have a removable felt foot bed to help the interior of the boot dry if your kids immerse themselves in puddles like ours. I ended up purchasing size 11 Little Boys for my 3year 2mth old grandson. His foot measures 16.5cms and whilst the boots are a bit large (maybe 1-2 sizes) he can still wear them quite okay with socks so I am happy with more wear for the money. I would much prefer it this way than getting them just fitting nicely at the beginning of our Autumn with Winter still to come than getting a short period of wear for the cost and postage involved.

Would have gotten 5 stars if one of the straps had not broken the second time my son wore them. It didn't even happen when putting them on or taking them off. My husband picked him up and one strap just broke off on on of the sides where it connects to the boot. We didn't return because they are stellar boots and the straps are just to put on and take off for the kid, mine is too little to handle that, we put them on for him anyway. They are really adorable, definitely waterproof as advertised and fit great on my 2 1/2 year old (he is wearing a size 7). For the price this is quite a deal.

My son is almost 2.5 years old and wears a size 6 toddler shoe, but I ordered a size 7 boot so he would have growing room. They fit him perfectly with room to grow! He LOVES the boots. They are extremely good quality, much better than I was expecting actually. If he sees these boots out he puts them on himself and wears them everywhere. We went to the beach and he wore them, of course, got them soaked inside and out and my only non-important complaint was that the inner bottom top material liner of the shoe came loose. But I just had to take it out and it is everything is fine.

Good quality, fit true to size. They have a bit of a glossy shine to them. My 1.5 yr old loves sharks and fell in love with these boots immediately. They were easy for her to learn to put on and take off by herself which made them even more popular. We have lots of rain, mud, and snow, and these get worn every day. They have held up nicely and are easy to clean. The tread on the bottom is just right and grippy and feet stay dry!

I love these wellies and have bought them for years but the quality is definitely deteriorating. They split within months and the handles snapped within weeks. We do use them daily but I'd definitely expect better than that. My daughter has a different brand and hers have lasted far beyond the Hatleys. I won't be buying them again.

My son had the red and blue dinosaur ones previously but unfortunately has outgrown them. I didn’t hesitate on buying another pair as his last ones are still in great condition, just too small. We decided on the shark ones and I was really excited for them to turn up. I loved the look of them and the black and grey colour in the picture, unfortunately when they arrived they are not grey but a baby blue. No where in the description does it state what colour they are so you expect that the pictures should be accurate. A little disappointed!

I bought the wellies as part of my grandsons birthday present because he is mad on dinosaurs. As soon as he saw them he put them on and has insisted on wearing them all over the weekend!!They are extremely well made and well worth the money. I am sure they will be well used.

At first I loved these, they look great and turn the water. However my two year old son just came to me upset that the handle has broken.The handle was one of the main reasons for purchase so that my son could put these on himself.You can see from the boots that they haven't had much wear, they are like new.For the price this isn't acceptable.Awaiting a response from the seller.

These are lovely Wellington’s. I bought them for my grandson and they fit really well. He has the goat to match so he looks really cool!He’s a big boy for his age so got the next size up. The boots fit well around his calf’s and are wide enough in the foot.
