This page offers both long and short wicks. I can’t find the measures/differences so don’t know which to order. Can any of you help? Thanks.

If the bottle is about six inches tall or so then long wick. If bottle is 3 inches or so tall then short wick.

Do you need to replace the wick if you change fragrance?

NO, I suggest that you take the wick out and put it on a paper towel, Put the new fragrance in and insert the wick back in wet. It will take a few minutes for the old fragrance to wick out. Some have found that they like it when the two fragrances blend for a minute. Or you can let the wick dry out and go thru the beginning again of letting the wick soak for 20 minutes.

What is the diameter of the burner?

It's approxiamtely 3/4" across the top of the burner. I hope this helps

Perfect Replacement for my 40 year old Lamp Bergère

Worked perfectly. Put my Lampe Bergère back in operation. Remember to blow out the flame after maximum 2 minutes of burning to help the stone last longer.

Did not work at all.

Did not work at all. It would not light often but when it did it stopped immediately. I only use genuine. Lampberge oil.

First one wouldn't light but company was very good about replacing it

The first wick we received would not light (which may have been due to the old oil we were trying to use) but Maison Berger was very good about immediately replacing it with another wick even before we returned the first wick for our Lampe Berger. We own several of these lampes but haven't used them for a couple of years which is why we were buying fresh wicks. These lampes are wonderful for killing odors and their oils have wonderful scents like lavender and tea tree. I like that the lamps were originally created by a doctor to help clean the air in French hospitals.

The Perfect Stone

Vraie mèche de la maison Berger

Un peu cher il est vrai, mais c'est une vraie mèche de la maison Berger,qui dure dans le temps avec une pierre qui fonctionne très bien.Il faut faire attention, éviter de la toucher avec les doigts,la graisse déposée par eux réduit sa durée de vie. Les autres mèches beaucoup moins chères ne valent pas le coup, certaines ont une durée de vie ridicule et fonctionnent mal
