Bought it for my 4 kids. My 12Y boy is an elite player 80% shooting inside 16 feet. No effect on shot, irrelevant. But for my beginner daughters, it worked much better. Especially 14Y, it was amazing; really improved her shot - almost immediately. Helped the other two beginning daughters, but less. Both are 10y and under. So, I guess it depends on the player and their level of play and what needs fixing.
