This is what every person needs to have. For safety, it is so good. Exactly like how it is described and I tested it with my door the alarm itself is Super loud. Exactly does what it is supposed to do and will definitely be loud enough to wake an entire hotel floor if someone tries to get into your room at night. The pedal is super sensitive and the whole thing has good weight to it which means it should hold ground whilst a door will be pushed onto it. Can't fault it, you just need to buy batteries as it is not included (says so in item description).

Does what it says. However, unlike some others, it also works very well on laminated and wooden flooring. It's lightweight, and appears sturdy enough to receive a good bashing, although by then and opportunist would've likely left. Size is decent and easy to pack, eg, slim enough to fit under mant doors but high enough for doors with larger gaps. It's more practical than aesthetically pleasing and provides a nice secure feel to sleep in various accommodations where a non-locking door becomes a last minute challenge. Baring in mind we're not security experts, this is loud!!! So if you're planning your use it in your hotel room(?) 1) Test the door against it to name sure you're comfortable with its level of movement resistance/grip. Then 2) Remove the batteries.

You should not be allowed to sell an emergency travel safety product that needs an obscure battery that you don’t supply with the product. I needed it for my vacation and could not find the 9V random battery it needs to work. Shame. When one finally does install it doesn’t work much on typical Hilton / Holiday Inn type hotels with carpets. It just slides away. Given I had to make an extra trip to get the battery I can’t recommend this product.
