How long is the wire harness for the flush mounts? Enough from rear bumper into crewcab pick-up? thx

My harness wasn't long enough either so I looked at the fuse size and matched it to a breaker. Ran the harness as far as it would go from rear to front then put the ground to the frame then positive wire to the breaker on one side then bought some wire to extend from the breaker to the battery. And for the control switch which is 3 wires extended them too.

how well would these work as fogs in a metal front bumper?

They would be too bright for that. I use them as an additional back up light on an aux switch. Helps a lot with hitching up a trailer at night.
