1/4 inch Grommet Kit 400 Sets Grommets Eyelets with 3 Pieces Install Tool Kit (4 Colors)

So turns out my craft store doesn't have 1/4 inch grommets so I head over to Amazon and figured "hey, 12 bucks for 400 grommets with no reviews? Ah, let's try it." Worst case scenario I get a refund and order a different one.Now I'm no grommet nut, I don't know what makes a grommet premium quality, but for $0.03 a grommet, the quality meets my expectations. The only thing wrong with this is the hole punch is a bit hit or miss and crudely carved. Now I don't need, nor want a hole punch or else that would have dropped my review to 4 stars. There are also no instructions if you're into that, but it's 2019 people and they're grommets.The case is pretty solid, no pieces slide past their (removable) plastic barriers. I did manage to get a grommet in and hold nicely to a pretty thick material (nylon strapping folded onto itself)Keep in mind that this isn't a paid review, I wish it was because extra money is always nice. It's grommets. You need grommets? You have $12? Just buy it, lmao.

I think the metal on the centering tool must be too soft. The first 4 went perfectly. The fifth time the bottom piece got stuck inside the part of the tool that gets hit with the hammer. My sewing project that I worked so hard on was stuck between the two pieces. My husband pried them apart with Pliers which was not easy! Thinking this was a fluke we tried it twice again. We almost couldn’t separate them and my project suffered. Definitely sending this back.

If the set had a hole puncher that worked I would rate it a 5. I ordered 2 sets and both hole cutters were so dull they couldn't cut paper. You have to make your own holes which is very difficult at 1/4 inch size. The actual insertion of grommets is a snap. Great quality. Just wish they would take action on all of the reviews about dull cutter- easily a 5 rating if they did.

I've used a good portion of these already for lacing holes on some bodices I'm making and haven't had any issues. I haven't used the hole punch that it came with as it didn't seem to work great with the materials I am using. I'm going to toss the garments in the wash and see how they hold up to that, but overall, I'm very happy with these and will order them again

The hole punch is bigger than the brads so doesn’t catch the fabric. O rings several were bent and unusable. Metal material is very thin construction so this will not hold up in most applications. I’m so disappointed

What's not to like? There are four metallic finishes to choose from and plenty of grommets for various projects. It's easy to use, once you get the hang of it. The hole punch is not as bad as some reviewers have reported. The trick is to use a piece of hard wood, or similar material as the backing when you punch the hole. Pine, Fir: bad; Oak, Birch: good.

Grommets are awesome, was able to use them on thick drop cloth. BUT the cutting tool barely worked right off the bat. And the more I used it the less sharp the tool got. I had to puncture the cloth with scissors to get my project done, but the grommets were perfect. I used a few dozen and not a singleton crimped or split.
