Tab Size: 6" x 8" Boat Size: 10' - 14' Review: They do exactly what they are meant to, real solid materials and construction - These are a great fix for basic boat leveling without any adjustment while underway If you simply need to get the bow down a bit they are perfect for that. The materials and construction are top notch as Bennett always has had. Installation is a no brainer for even the novice level boater. A few tips: Make sure to sand the attachment points to bare metal or rough up the fiberglass. Use 5200 on the attachment points, and also fill your drilled holes before screwing them down to the transom. Install them flat even with the bottom for operation where you won't need any leveling then drop them as needed, you won't want them to be always down because they can drag a little and reduce top end speed. When you decide you need them on, always start on the lightest setting-less is more with these. Just a tiny bit of downward angle will provide a lot of downforce, you don't need to go much more than the first setting, and if you do, you will find they may end up really holding you back from topping out speed wise or efficiently planing in some cases. They do exactly what they promise, if you think you will need adjustability on the move, just go ahead and get powered trim tabs. These are really best for jonboats and smaller skiffs and flats boats. Review: Works BETTER than anticipated. - Bought these with anticipation they would help my 97' 15-1/2 ft Bayliner Jazz Jet Boat plane out faster , control porpoising and aggressive chiming. Ill be honest, I was skeptical about non-controllable trim and to rely on hydrolic pressure. Mounted as far out as I could . This Girl self mounted these in about 45 minutes. Super easy! I waited overnight for the marine sealanIt to cure and took out "Wet Wiener" the next afternoon. I couldn't be more impressed with the anticipated performance improvement. Seriously, nearly eliminated any porpoising these short Jet boats are known for. We put the tabs to through both calm water as well as choppy water and crossing boat wakes. These tabs are small but mighty! Maybe I lucked out with placement but the performance was more than an exciting difference. Also, they did not sacrifice speed.
