Egg Pappardelle No. 101 Pasta, 8.8 Oz

This De Cecco Egg Pappardelle was absolutely delicious! I made a simple pasta dish using Italian cherry tomatoes, tomato paste, olive oil, garlic, onion powder, oregano and cheese. Several of the ingredients came from Amazon, making this an easy Amazon-inspired meal. I also served it with homemade garlic bread made with olive oil, yeast and sugar. The wide ribbons gave the dish a restaurant-quality appearance and had a wonderful taste and texture. The pasta cooked evenly, held together well without becoming mushy, and was durable enough to stand up to the thick tomato sauce and cheese. It also held the sauce beautifully in all of its folds. These noodles are versatile enough for tomato sauce, cream sauce, meat sauce, soups or a simple olive oil and herb dish. The ingredient list is refreshingly simple, although this is wheat pasta and is not gluten-free. When you begin with a quality brand and good ingredients, you really do not need anything complicated to make an excellent meal. There were three of us, and the package made plenty for dinner with leftovers. I may serve the remaining pasta as a side dish with another meal. We loved the texture, taste and overall quality, and I will definitely purchase it again. Helpful tip: Stir these wide noodles gently while cooking and check them a little early—they cook quickly, and their broad folds are perfect for catching thick sauces.

Extraordinary noodles. Perfect size and great tasting. I used them with homemade pasta sauce, peppers, onions, capers and some other stuff. Poured it in a casserole dish, smothered with cheese and they came out perfect. Will buy again.

This was my first time to try this style of wide noodles and I love them! Some say the price is to high but I had at least 4 meals out of the one package. I wish they were "organic".

I do not want this product anymore. I like it but I have too much

After decades of buying pasta from the grocery store, I discovered these wide noodles. Mamma Mia! They are soooo good. I’ve always loved egg noodles with butter, salt and pepper. Or wide noodles to add to my homemade chicken soup. These are so much better in comparison to store bought. Like homemade ice cream to store bought. They are made fresh and so cook fast. They actually have flavor and texture (texture other than cardboard or rubber) that make them the only noodles I will buy now. Highly recommend.

Much better than I thought very tasty

I have introduced a niece to good, basic cookery. Pasta as not just spaghetti or egg noodles but extending to ramen and udon. She is having a fine time exploring the multitude of ways to cook with it. This one serves her well. I just taught her to make a creamier shrimp dish, something off the cuff after the pappardelle arrived. I'll buy my own. I want to see what other pasta minds De Cecco offers.

Oh My Word!! These noodles are the best I have ever tasted in my life! The texture, the taste, the width just absolutely amazing, with so many different uses. Just incredible. The company was extremely concerned when I only received one package vrs 12 but instantly refunded. I will be ordering regularly. Thank you 🌷🌷

I'm very disappointed to realize I paid $34 for one box of noodles. I thought it was 12 separate boxes for that price and now can't even return it according to the return policy. Live and learn I guess.😔
