Covers for Avana Mattress Elevator - King Size, Covers Only, Rayon Mattress Ticking with Full Zippered Enclosure, White

We purchased this cover set for our mattress elevators in our camper. The quality of craftmanship and fabric is very good. Covering the foam wedge mattresses with these covers is a must for maintaining the foam and keeping it from tearing. Because the foam has some real "grab" quality to it, the covers make it much easier to move the mattress on top and to put sheets on the upper mattress. I only wish they were sold as a set with the wedge mattresses, perhaps at a combined and discounted price.

Great company to deal with. They do reply to questions quickly. Product is very nicely made. My suggestion is to go ahead and purchase the cover for the elevator at the same time. You will be glad you get it as it will be easier to install the elevator under your mattress. Remember you will have to lift your mattress to install so it will be helpful to have someone lifting it while installing. Excellent company!!

I bought this cover for the 5" wedges and can definitely understand why people complain that it's not big enough and a pain to install on the wedges. It wasn't too difficult for the 5" inch wedges, but still harder than it should be. I couldn't imagine trying to get this on the 7" wedges. The covers I received don't have the zippers on them and go on like a fitted sheet (with no elasticity whatsoever) , so there's no cover on the bottom side of the wedge. I'm fine with this, but it still was a bit of a pain to get on, as others have mentioned the cover is just short enough to make it a PIA to get on the wedge. Good quality with sturdy material and stitching, but adding an inch or two to the length would go a long way towards eliminating the hassle of getting them on. Or put a little bit of elastic in the fabric (similar to stretch jeans) so it has a little elasticity. Would definitely let these air dry after a wash, as there's really no room for shrinkage.

I finally found this after years of watching my husband fight with assorted pillows trying to lift himself to avoid reflux. We talked about a lift bed. We have a memory foam mattress, so the lift would have worked. Still, I know from experience in hospitals that you have to wake up and adjust the bed every time you turn from your back to your side. He is a roller. We worried that we would slide down during the night, and since he is 6'3" it would cause his feet to hang out. That really does not happen. We may shift down a couple of inches, but still are no where near the foot of the bed in the morning. It does significantly raise the head of the bed, and is visually noticeable, but the relief that he gets makes that unimportant. This foam lift ends his nightly struggle. With the entire mattress angled, he can roll from his back to his side without waking up. He is having less issue with his GERD, no more fighting with pillows, and is sleeping much better. He is not nearly so cranky. I really wish that we had found this solution years ago.

Good fit, accurate description

I wish I had listened to the other reviews, but figured they just had to be putting it on incorrectly. No. They were right. It simply does NOT fit the mattress elevator pad, which we do love, but it remains uncovered. We tried our best to make it fit, but it just did not. It curls up the ends of the mattress corners making the pad not flat at the end. Better off just using a bed sheet to go over it instead, and tuck the excess underneath. Wish we had thought to do that before we put the mattress back down on the elevator pad. It was a huge waste of money, and we didn't return it because it was past the 30 days by the time we even tried it. Now it's been a year, and it's painful that we let $70 go down the drain. UPDATE 12-30-24 I was contacted by the seller, and they had Amazon refund my money, as they have a year guarantee on their products, which I did not know. So, even though the product itself was not good, I have to say that the seller gives top notch service! Thank you so much!

I PREVIOUSLY BOUGHT A 1/2 THE SIZE MATTRESS ELEVATOR AND USED IT FOR A YEAR AND A HALF. BUT AFTER A WHILE IT BOTHERED MY BACK. SO I BOUGHT THIS COMPLETE MATTRESS ELEVATOR AND LOVE IT. I'D LET IT AIR OUT A FEW DAYS AND PUT IT UNDER MY MATTRESS AND IT'S AN OUTSTANDING PRODUCT. 7 INCHES HIGH IN THE BACK/MY HEAD AND 1 INCH HIGH NEAR THE FRONT/MY FEET. HAS REALLY HELPED PREVENT STOMACH ACID FROM COMING up into my esophagus. I also bought the FOAM covers which is a good investment. I have only had the product since July. But very happy with it

I bought these king covers, even though we purchased the CalKing mattress elevator. The width is perfect for the CalKing, but it was 4 inches too short. When it was described to be like a fitted sheet, I wrongly assumed there would be extra fabric and elastic all around. There is no extra fabric, except a few inches on the top and bottom. There is a velcro strapping in the middle as described. There is no way these would fit a standard King. The solution for me was to use an old jersey twin fitted sheet that I had cut the fitted ends off. I then sewed those ends onto the ends of the covers, after letting out the seams on the shallow ends. That added the needed length and fitted corners. It isn’t perfect, but it worked and that end is always covered by the covers.

Absolutely impossible to insert the foam elevators into the covers. The covers are too small. Sent back.

J'aime bien le fait que le cotton utilisé pour la confection des housses soient de bonne qualité. Cependant, elles sont beaucoup trop courte. Nous avons enlevé 3 pouces sur la longueur des foams à l'extrémité la plus épaisse afin que le tout soit fonctionnel. C'est à revoir au niveau de la confection à mon avis puisque c'est un réel inconvénient.
