Must have for households with little ones
Who doesn't love model magic?? Bought for my kiddo, as he was using at church school and fell in love with it. it keeps hm occupied in a very creative way. Very good value for the money. Fun for adults, too! I find it's good stress relief to play with it, so we get a bonus when we play together. Creations dry well overnight, so you can save your best projects.

Our Favorite Modeling Clay!!!
My 7 1/2 year old daughter has been playing with model magic since she was 3. I think I have bought between 25-30lbs of it over the years. It is usually cheapest to buy from the craft store in 2lb buckets with a 50% off coupon, however, when I purchased this classpack it was on sale and ended up cheaper. The multi-color classpack is the way to go if you can get a deal on it. It doesn't dry out as fast as the 2lb bucket because you are only opening small amounts at the time. Also, it is perfect for parties or playdates, since it is already divided up into small quantities. It is also great for travel or bringing to a restaurant to keep kids entertained - just throw a few packs in your bag.My daughter will play with this for hours. We actually threw out all of our play-doh and only buy model magic because it does not make a mess, doesn't crumble, and dries nicer. Model magic works well with most play-doh playsets, with one exception - it does not work with any type of extruding tool. It gets stuck every time we have tried to extrude it.I attached a few pictures of our recent creations. You can easily stick gems, pipe cleaners, googly eyes, sequins, and feathers into your model magic creations. Also, with this primary color pack, you can make any color you want. Here are some tips: If you can't get something to stick to model magic, like googly eyes, wait until it dries then glue it on. If you are making a large animal or figure, like a snowman, use foil for the main structure. Then cover the foil with the model magic. You will save model magic and it will dry faster. To dry model magic, place on a paper plate. Every day or so, turn the model magic creation over, so each side gets a chance to dry. It dries very lightweight. If you plan to make handprints or footprints, you will need to press the hand or foot into the clay very firmly to get a well defined print. We have used it for prints, but it does require patience. Finally, once dry, never place directly on any surface to display without something under it. Sometimes, humidity will make it stick to the surface leaving a hard to remove residue behind. We usually put a piece of paper under the dried object when displaying.

Great quality, a lot of small bags
The quality of the cat is excellent. The only gripe I have is that they all come in small packages. Might be a good idea for Halloween instead of candy.

Model magic rocks!
As an art teacher, I went through a grieving period when I switched to a school that had no kiln, but I've been converted! Model magic can be used to build so many skills! From color mixing to sculpture the kids always have a fun time. I also appreciate that it dries over night -- bigger pieces should be turned to dry evenly.Fun for all ages!

Great purchase for gifting to numberous children and tons of fun for the family! Therapeutic too ;)
I bought this big box of Model Magic as it included enough for gifting a couple of each color to kiddos in the family for Christmas. My kiddos and I also made Christmas ornaments. They had a blast, and so did I! I wasn't sure what to expect as it was our first time playing around with Model Magic, and it is now our favorite modeling/making play and stress relief. My eldest daughter and I have ADHD, and our son has autism, and this clay was fantastic for fine motor practice among social skills and communication as we made different shapes and objects. This Model Magic was easy to mold and shape, my 3 year old even made a snake, then turned it into a candy cane 😂. I did buy some small clay tools from Amazon, and those worked really well making textures and cutting the clay. After about 20 minutes some of it started drying up so I would put what you arent using in air tight ziploc or some container. Also, this clay was super easy to color, the kids kuyst used Crayola markers and I sprayed a coat so the marker wouldn't wash off. Great buy and will be getting more eventually ☺️

Vibrant colors, best value, good consistency
I've used several brands of air dry clay, but I chose Model Magic this time in large part for the value per ounce. I bought this to use for products that I sell on Etsy. I needed a larger amount of clay than usual, but I also needed to be able to have several ounces of the same color. With these packs, I can mix the colors to make any color except black and gray. I can make as little or as much of a color as I need. Many other brands sell this type of clay in small (0.7 oz) containers with only one container of each color, which makes it difficult to make anything that isn't quite small or to make multiple items of the same color.Model magic brand is a nice consistency; not too soft or too dry. The colors are also more vibrant than other brands. This is the first brand that I have ever found that has a true red color. When needed, the colors mix together easily and completely. This is high enough quality for me to use for my art products but cheap enough for me to share with my 5 year old daughter, who loves to make all kinds of things with it.
