I usually purchase this from Jegs but I found it on amazon for the same price and no shipping charge.

The difference is almost unbelievable. Dropped car temperature by a solid 30 degrees. Easy to apply (you don’t really need their special sprayer I used a $30 harbor freight undercoating sprayer). Only problem is now I need to remove the sunroof and do the roof!!!

I posted a YouTube video testing its effectiveness on a semi truck fuel tank. We were testing its ability to keep tank temperatures down and it performed well. It’s easy to apply and clean up and you can apply it in a variety of textures. I do think it’s too expensive.

Don’t buy this from Amazon. My delivery was expired (and the manufacturers expiration date label was removed). I had the product for about 60 days prior to opening waiting on my truck from the body shop. By the time I realized it was too late to do anything with Amazon. BUY THIS DIRECTLY FROM LIZARd SKIN, great product and their customer support was awesome. They were very apologetic and helpful.

This stuff is super light weight. I highly recommend purchasing the proper Lizardskin recommended sprayer. The product is so light weight, a normal undercoating gun won't flow properly with it. I tried and it doesn't work. The proper applicator gets the job done very quickly. I did a Model A interior, front to back, floor to ceiling in very little time with just one bucket. Water based clean-up is very good. This product works as advertised. I can drive with bare feet on this product. Without it, my headers heated the floor enough to burn my feet. I will be buying another bucket soon for my next build.

I first bought this product to spray the inside of my motorcycle aluminum saddle bags. After a few coats of Lizard Skin both of my saddle bags became mini ice chests! This year I used it to insulate steel columns that were acting as giant cold sinks in my all-glass and steel country house. With snow on the roof during winter the icy temps would travel down the interior steel columns to radiate the cold enough to feel it from a few feet away. After spraying the columns with two coats, not only did this cold transfer stop but the Lizard Skin texture became an architectural plus!

Works great. Easy to spray. Low overspray. Topcoat looks great over it.

When I opened the container I thought they sent me a bucket of Sandy pudding. When the company says we highly recommend using there spray gun, they actually mean there gun is the only one that lizard skin can be applied with. I have use raptor liner on quite a few things so I have a couple guns and cleaned bottles. I had the brilliant idea of using raptor liner gun and bottle to apply this. The consistency of the ceramic lizard skin is extremely thick and does not pour very well. I wasted about 2 cups trying to get the bottle filled the first time not to mention the mess that it made. It was too thick to spray through my set up so reading the instruction I found it is cleaned up with water. So I used a small amount of water to thin the lizard skin so it would spray through my gun. It went on OK but not great. As far as how well it insulates that is yet to be seen.
