I use this to copy pictures from my camera to my iPad or iPhone while I'm traveling. From there, I can edit them and get them on their way. This is perfect for that because it's fast and small.It takes less than 15 seconds to copy 100 6MB JPG files from an SD card to my device. This means that a day's worth of pictures are copied and ready to go in under a minute, which is fast enough for my needs.It's smaller than my pinky, so it doesn't take up much space. If you're looking for somewhere to keep it, it also fits nicely in an Altoids Smalls (0.37 oz) tin. I also like that it's a single, solid (mostly metal) piece without a dangling cord to get tangled or break.Finally, this reader interfaces seamlessly with the built-in Files app so I don't have to rely on any 3rd party software.

This product work so well and easy that I bought the one for vehicle so I do not have to remember to carry it each vehicle. Highly recommend this

I really like the Anker SD card reader 2-in-1 USB-C. It works perfectly and is super fast, making it easy to transfer files from my SD card to my computer. It’s compact and convenient, which I love. However, I had an issue with durability. My computer fell off the couch, and the card reader bent and broke before I even had a chance to use it. I’m really disappointed about that because the performance was great. If you’re careful with it, it’s a fantastic product, but just keep in mind it might not hold up to drops or rough handling.

Tested the card reader as soon as I received it. Took some photos with my camera then removed the memory card and plugged it into the Anker SD card reader and that into my MacBook Air. Worked fantastic the first time. I had no issues with heat or corruption of the photos. It was great the first time. I'm also able to scan documents from my printer to a card then transfer it using this device. I don't know why some people are having issues but my experience was flawless. For the price, this is a very good device.

Took a minute for me to figure it out but worked perfectly with both my windows computer and iPhone to transfer videos from an SD and mini SD card. Great $9 purchase!
