Works great
This USB to VGA to add another monitor for work is working great. I was a little confusing when I plugged it in. The computer was stating that it was a web camera. If you follow the directions that come with it. It steps you through the way to install the video driver to work with a monitor. I see a lot of negative comments that states this does not work. Once got the driver installed the monitor is great.Update: July 27, 2021, This piece stopped working on me complete. to be fair I use this adapter 8 hours plus and leave it running the 8 hours when working and when i leave my office to go out on the job site and inspect homes. Never had issues with the Adapter other then today.I will be purchasing another one due to it has work well for the money and the length of time i have has it.

First adapter had corrupted file
When I tried to install adapter a message came up that file was corrupted and unreadable. Chatted with Amazon rep same day and they sent me a replacement and return label for first adapter. Received the second one promptly and installation was very easy. As of now works as advertised and needed.I must say, dealing with the reps on several differnt problems (seems we ordered a lot lately) has been a pleasure. They are easy to deal with and try to find a way to help. Most of the bad reviews I have read show a degree of "pilot error" on the part of the buyer.Amazon personel are courteous and well trained!

Would not connect to USB 3.0 port, only USB 2
This is not a good product. When I plugged it into my USB 3.0 port, the device didn't even show up. I tried plugging it into the USB 2.0 port and it worked, except at the intolerably low resolution of USB 2 (the best it does is 800x600). I tested my USB 3.0 port with another device - it still works just fine. I'm not sure what the issue with this device is, but it doesn't work so I'd recommend buying somewhere else. I'm disappointed that such a low quality product is being sold, but thanks to Amazon's excellent customer service I will have no issue returning it. I would not recommend this product - save yourself the trouble and pay extra for a reputable name brand device.

Look for the link to download the software on product page on Amazon
They don't tell you that you have to install driver software that does not automatically load. Am now trying to find it online, but cannot. I'll give this a few more minutes and then it's going back - or in the trash. There isn't even a company name or web site listed in the instructions.UPDATE: after reading the Amazon product page I noticed their link (copy and paste it) to download the software required to operate the device. After doing that, all works well. Been up and running for several days now. Why the link was not in their instructions included with the product I don't know.

Works Well
Works well. Using Lenovo notebook and Dell monitor. However, D-sub connector screw holes don't seem to accept standard jack screws. 2nd unit okay. Note: Adapter seems to work better when connected directly to USB on computer. I had issues when trying to go through a powered hub.

Not what I expected
It works but if you move anything slightly, the extra monitor goes black. I kept it because I need it but it's a pain to have to set it and not move it.

Two screens set up fast
Needed to add a second monitor for my bookkeeper. This low cost solution has her thrilled. Picture quality is good the set up was fast and haven’t had issues. Probably not what you need if you are a gamer but for a solid picture on a second monitor this is great.

Need to install driver
Good product, but needs a driver installed. I believe the driver installs when the adapter is plugged in. Seller also makes driver available online for download.

Picture is really hazy
Tried it, but the picture was really hazy even at 1080p.The driver which comes in the provided cd is not up to the mark. Was seeing random glitches.Downloaded newer driver after searching for Windows7-Windows10_2.0.2.exe which resolved the random glitches but picture was still hazy. Returned it.

Producto pésimo
Muy mal dice que es compatible con sistemas operativos Linux pero no es cierto, además no funciona con windows 10
