They work!
I have a thickness planer whose exit port frequently got jammed up with chips and dust. Disassembling the back end of the machine to remove the clog was involved and time-consuming. I used a couple of these Z-clips to hold the bottom edge of the port securely, and a SamIdea Box Chest Case Spring Loaded Draw Toggle Latch to clamp the top surface. I can now remove the exit port in about two seconds. These z-clips were absolutely perfect for the job, and I have a bunch of them (and one toggle latch) left over for future projects.

Heavy mirror support
Used this cleat to hang large mirrors 36x48” in a metal frame. I bolted one to the mirror with stainless steel nuts and bolts and the other screwed into 2 studs and also drywall toggle bolts. If this ever falls apart I would bet that it will be the mirror frame that gives and not the cleats. I hung five heavy mirrors using this system. Takes time and planning but worth the cost and effort.

No hardware included
Appears to have lots of scratches. And no hardware. I missed that in the specs. Hope it works for our project.

They work, but a bit expensive for what they are.
So I purchased these to hang curtains with and they are as sturdy as the screws in the material will hold. This company (Orange Aluminum) also sells the same material as a several foot long piece. Google them. It is called a Z-clip or a Z-bar. When purchased that way the material is much less expensive, but you then have to cut it and must also supply your own screws and depending upon which style clip you purchase you may need to make holes it the Al. However, this also means that you can use longer screws for heavier mounts. I purchased these rather than the long pieces due to shipping costs.

excellent, high function mounting clips
• excellent for close to wall and rigid mounting!i used to make "french cleats" for mounting by cutting strips of plywood on a 45° angle and mount the one facing down on the frame and the other facing up on the wall to hang stuff... (see image below) ...and, i never thought of any other way, until seeing these clips! ...and now, the "french cleat" labor is a bit of a thing of the past, thanks to these Z-Clips!• they are a great idea, a real labor saver, and a good quality, well-made product!and, they will save me a lot of time and energy customizing french cleat mounting brackets with the plywood, and, now, i will likely only make them for heavy duty or unique jobs where the z-clip is not practical...very pleased, Thank you!

Will work but there are issues...
While these will work for what I am doing, I am disappointing with a couple aspects of the clips. I will be providing these as the mounting method for wall mounted home decor fixtures that I am fabricating. My intent was to supply a template for the customer to be able to mark the hole locations on the wall for exact placement. Problem is, the mounting holes are not horizontal but at some unknown angle. Carefully looking at only the main photo this can be seen but it is certainly not obvious. There are no dimensions available for the horizontal or vertical center to center distances. I will be able to work it out but it would be much more user friendly if the holes were straight across. Second is that the holes have burrs where they were punched or drilled. This I can fix with a quick touch with my countersink but it's another operation I shouldn't have to perform. I will be looking at alternate options going forward.

Buying more immediately.
This product allowed me to securely mount my cabinets to my wall. They are way better than just using screws alone. It also made it a lot easier to lift the cabinets to attach to the wall and I didn't have to make any extra holes. I am going to buy more immediately just to have around for whenever I have to mount anything else to a wall. I thought they were a great value. Just make sure you realize how small 2" is otherwise you may be wishing they were a little bigger. Of course, the packages of the larger Z-Clips don't have as many in them.
