For a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 6.0l this is the correct thermostat style but is a lower temperature. The OE temp is 187 & this one is 160. This will make the vehicle run cooler & could cause a SES light. The correct thermostat is a 523-190. Thanks for the inquiry.
