did your bottle come sealed?

No. There was not a seal to cover the bottle opening inside or a wrapping on the outside to secure the lid. The lid was a little loose also. I found a pharmacy that carries Balneol and the same was true for the bottles actually sitting on a shelf. I've used mine and it was safe.

Bottle came without any plastic covering or tamper protection. Is that the way it should be?
