Airman Portable Air Compressor

Works well on battery, I used it to fill my bicycle tires (60 lb psi). Plan on taking it with us when we go camping and take the bikes. All plastic, and not sure how durable it will be, but it is ok now.

Very handy for all sorts of things, more than I thought! It's great that it's so portable, no need to have a large air compressor nearby.Balls, motorcycle tires & air suspension, airplane tires, etc. all are easy to inflate without dragging a heavy compressor and/or long hose out. Particularly good for those situations when dealing with relatively low pressures, i.e., under 15 PSI, as it's so easy to set the desired pressure ahead of time. The screw-on adapter (for the tire valve) works well and loses very little air when being removed.Only issue I've experienced is occasionally the collet-type connection between the hose and the pump isn't very firm and the hose will slip out/off of the compressor if it's flexed very much.Information on the web site indicated it comes with a spare battery, but no, it's actually a 12-volt adapter that is in the same type of housing as the battery.

Good item to add air in your car tires if you are low on air

Product works great, but battery does not last. Works better when plugged in.

We returned it as it did not work well.

I was concerned that it would not be powerful enough to air-up my mountain bike tires to 55 psi.The device performed well and the auto-cut off at a set psi is a terrific feature!Very satisfied with the device.My only want would be that one would be able to operate the Airman by trigger control only.Instead, it is necessary to first turn the device on with the panel button, then trigger on/off....sure beats conventional air pumps.
