Oil Analysis Premier Sample Pump by Under My Hood - Including Live Port and Storage Case

This made pulling a sample from my transmission a breeze. Took longer to put the truck on a lift than to pull the sample. If you are doing a sample trans fluid like me, I recommend getting a syringe to refill the trans fluid to the correct level after pulling a sample.

As others note, cannot hold a vacuum. Kind of work first, second, time. Today, done after less than a couple years and 3 legit uses. Could not pull any oil out of my sump for testing. Look elsewhere.

Easy to use. Sampled oil from marine diesel engines, transmissions and generator. No mess. Uses standard oil analysis jars and plastic ice maker tubing. Not a drop spilled. Case is very handy for storage. Well made item.

Pump works great, but had hard time finding exact fit hose. Needed hose ferrule to make good seal.

Pump seems to be of high quality. I'm using mine with Blackstone labs sample kits. I grabbed a 25' spool of ice maker tubing from the hardware store for around two dollars to complete the setup.

A much better way to get samples, with this you can get multiple samples cleanly and uncontaminated from outside sources.

I manage a fleet of 500 assets, I have 5 technicians, each with their own oil sample pump. This brand (undermyhood) has had 2 failures 3-6 months after purchase. The other 4 are many years old, but are unbranded, yet none have failed. The warranty is 90 days, and since this most recent failure was purchased about 120 days ago, the most they can offer is a 10% discount if purchased directly from their website. I'd recommend purchasing elsewhere.

Pump works freat. Just need to check the O-ring or there won't be sufficient suction to fill the bottle.

Haven’t used it yet not sure when i will but it looks like it is well made
