Starbond 8 oz. Pump CA Glue Accelerator Spray - Instantly Dries Cyanoacrylate Super Glue - No Whitening, Precision Control Application

I would definitely recommend this glue accelerator spray when using it with Starbond CA Brown Glue. It sped up my project quite a bit. I used it on knots in a 1 3/4" thick oak board. It was easy to layer it with glue then spray it with the accelerator, and repeat. Before I knew it I was ready to sand. This was a good find.

I've used it a few times on different materials and so far I'm very impressed.

Product is great. Order took forever to arrive. Over 2 weeks for a "Prime" item. I kept it but bought some locally.

This accelerator spray is extremely handy when using CA instant glue. It makes the adhesion immediate for small items. Should be used in a well-ventilated area.

I use this with other starbond products. Filling cracks on wood products. It works fast so I don’t have to wait for the glue to dry by itself before sanding.

I was using GluBoost GluDry because it was the only thing I could find that didn't make hard white nodules or fog the finish. I decided to give this a try and found that it works just as good as GluDry for a better price. I use Starbond CA glues to finish entire guitars and necks. If you're just patching dings with CA glue on a nitrocellulose finish DO NOT USE this accelerator. It contains acetone (always read the ingredients and test on a small, inconspicuous area). Actually, if you're just patching little dings with CA glue, why do you need an accelerator? The thin stuff cures in about 10 seconds.

Edit: after posting this review I received a reply from starbond offering to refund my purchase price and send me a replacement. I accepted, and have received the refund. Hopefully the replacement will be here soon! Due to the good customer service, I've bumped it up from three stars to five. Original review is below: I used this for a couple months, and I like the aerosol spray, but when I got it out to use it today, instead of spraying a mist, it just shoots a dribble out. Instead of curing my CA glue, it went all over my hand and the workbench and the part I was gluing. I found a piece that I think fell out of the nozzle, but if I try to push it back into place it just falls out again, so I'm not sure if I'm installing it right, or if it's even the right piece. I'll probably try to find another spray bottle to dump it into so I can use the rest of it, but it's a bummer not to be able to use the bottle it came in. I've seen several other reviews reporting similar problems, so it seems that it should be a known issue to the manufacturer. I'd definitely give this five stars if the bottle didn't break.

Works as advertised, I like it better than the non-aerosol versions from other brands.

Works as good as any accelerator, just have to look for the best price.
