Fundamental Neuroscience (Squire,Fundamental Neuroscience)

Not amazingly written but stays up to date with the primary literature so perfect for the grad student because it would be assumed to not be the first time in the topic. For the undergrad, I would recommend sinauers neuroscience textbook. Great for introduction to the fiend, whereas this textbook is perfect for the in depth needs of a grad student.

Very thorough and complete. It focuses on the cellular and molecular background to the basics of neuroscience. Definitely useful for graduate students.

Good book, low-quality pictures, some even illegible. Don't recommend it from here. No customer service on that matter either.

Fast arrival, great book.

While the third edition of this book made me not very happy (a bit chaotic and dispersive), this fourth edition has greatly improved: well cared and updated. The topics are treated with care and the images (precious for any types of student) are very descriptive (in that sense, the third edition had this merit too). I highly recommend the study of this book if you want to get a good idea of the Neuroscience in more 'fundamental' (molecular) way.
