Well made and sturdy
First impression before using: like many others have said this is my first “good” hacksaw, having used the $5 cheapies from the hardware store all my life. The Klein saw is well made, sturdy and a little heavier than the cheapies. The weight is helpful when sawing “normally” but might cause fatigue when cutting overhead. The rubber handles at both ends should help ease fatigue when cutting. Mine came with a 24 TPI bi-metal blade and a bonus 6” 24 TPI bi-metal reciprocating saw blade but no instructions of any kind. Not really necessary but I don’t know how many turns of the tensioning knob are necessary. (Trial & error?) The wing-style nut used for tensioning the blade moves very smoothly and is comfortable. Klein apparently listened to some of the earlier complaints and fixed these problems: The blades fit inside the top of the saw with no problems. (No longer too short). The tensioning knob travels down far enough to easily remove and install the blades. I’ll report back later with more comments after using it to make various cuts. UPDATE 1/17/2021: I intended to report back sooner but didn’t make it. This continues to be a durable and accurate saw. I have used it to cut lots of aluminum and steel and it definitely works much better than any hacksaw I have ever owned. The amount of tension on the blade hasn’t made a noticeable difference to me so I don’t think it’s an issue for this saw. Very durable and still going strong!

Great
Great hacksaw. Has a solid wieght to it that i dont mind. I feel like it being heavier helps with the cutting. It applies more pressure. I like that you can store extra blades in the frame

Just an Excellent Hacksaw!!!
I've been using a very old Klein Hacksaw for the last 25 years, it was given to me by my Dad. It's lasted way past it's expected life, and this new one is just as well built, maybe even better. Yes I do own a lot of Klein tools, both old and new, but I'm not a Klein Only type, I simply use what works best for me. This new Klein Hacksaw is simply built with very high quality, both materials and skill. I'm sure many other brands of Hacksaws would be just fine for most. I bought this for myself due to my long experience with my old Klein hacksaw. They've improved most everything on there hacksaw, from a better, more comfortable handle, to the lever action which holds the blade in place. They still use the top ridge of the saw to hold your spare hacksaw blades, safe, secure, and out of sight. Again, this Klein hacksaw just screams quality, and thats noticeable from the minute you see and use it. You will pay more for this saw, but at the same time, your getting a saw that you'll be able to give to your kids, and last for many more years to come. I'm still keeping my old Klein hacksaw, because it's never failed me, and it was my Fathers before me. But I do love this new one! I can pretty much promise, that if your a first time buyer of any hacksaw, or a first time buyer of a Klein hacksaw, you'll be very happy with this one. Plus Kleins warranty is hard to beat! If you bust it, just take it to anyplace that sells Klein tools, and you'll walk out with a brand new one. I am only giving this hacksaw a 4 star rating, because it's made in China. Tip: This saw comes with a 24 tooth bi-metal blade (24tpi, teeth per inch), and for cutting steel or conduit, you should get yourself some 32 tooth blades, they cut much smoother. Less effort, more work done. Bring it back home Klein!!!!! ALL Klein products need to be made in America. Great Hacksaw!

The best hacksaw I have used
This hacksaw was a great bargain considering it's the best I have used. $50 would still be a fair price for it. It's super-stable without the slightest hint of wobble. The tightening mechanism for the blade works perfectly and easily puts all the tension on the blade that you could want. The handle is easy to hold and comfortable. I wish that I had found this saw 30 years ago.

Well built. Balanced
I had a cheap, old hack saw most of my life. Upgraded to this one recently. Man I wish I had done that a long time ago. Sturdy. Feels good in your hand. Good quality.

Put up with cheap $29 hack saws for years then bought this. It is so much easier to use because the tension on the blade is really good and the weight and balance of this saw in your hands feels very comfortable.

Best hacksaw I have ever owned over the last 25 years working on site. Yes it's a tad more expensive than other leading brands. But you pay for what you get. Stronger, more accurate cutting. With the added advantage of being able to mount a reciprocating saw blade at the front for awkward cuts.

Muy firme en el corte, el mango es grueso y tiene muy buen hagarre, al corta no es tan cansado por su mango ergonómico, tensa muy bien la sierra. Lo recomiendo, indispensable tenerlo en casa o para un profesional

This is a great hacksaw. I’m an apprentice electrician and I have this tool because it is on my unions tool list. Excellent build quality as usual from Klein which is why they are always my go too. I don’t use this all the time however as our shop provides all power tools so the bandsaw is just more convenient. But for when I need to quickly cut anything like conduit it’s awesome.
