Exactly as stated. It looks great and the hose wound easily...More easily than I thought.

I love this. I hesitated on buying one for years, but this year I did it and it works exactly like I wanted to. It was easy to install. The size is perfect.

Not what I expected from past experience with Suncast. Should have checked in store first, Not heavy plastic as before, much lighter size and weight {more flimsy) than in past, rewind mechanism no longer rides on tube which rotates in grooves with turn of crank handle as in past. As a result, the user has to move the hose guide knob by hand while turning the crank and holding the unit with your third hand or that of a helper. Holding the unit by hand is necessary to prevent pulling stakes in rear of the unit out of the ground. Always been happy with Suncast but!!!!!! Will not return as it is still a good buy. Customer service is great.

This Suncast 175 ft. Wicker Style Resin Hose Hideaway is an absolute abomination and a complete waste of money. The "wicker style" might look decent in the picture, but in reality, it's nothing more than cheap, flimsy plastic that feels like it will shatter if you look at it too hard. "Not sturdy" is a massive understatement. This thing wobbles and flexes with the slightest touch. I put my hose in it, and the entire unit felt like it was going to buckle. It's clearly not built to withstand any real outdoor use, let alone the weight of a standard garden hose. It might survive in a climate-controlled museum, but not in an actual backyard. And don't even get me started on the "rolls up hose without problems" claim – that's a flat-out lie! The internal mechanism is a joke. The crank is stiff, the hose jams constantly, and it feels like you're fighting a losing battle trying to reel anything in. It's more of a hose tangler than a hose hideaway. I've spent more time untangling and wrestling with this pathetic excuse for a product than actually using my hose. This Suncast product is a prime example of poor engineering and cheap materials being sold at an inflated price. Save yourself the frustration and buy something actually durable. This is a fragile, ineffective piece of plastic garbage that belongs in the recycling bin, not your yard.

Price was good. 2 issues though: The hose guide doesn't move back-and-forth on its own, evenly spacing out the hose as it winds up. You have to slide it back-and-forth yourself or the hose would bunch up on one side. It takes quite a bit of coordination winding up the hose with one hand, while moving the hose in the hose guide back-and-forth with the other hand. Moreover, since the housing material doesn't weigh as much as a metal one, the unit moves around a lot, until enough hose weight is on the spool to help hold it down. Also, the included short hose that attaches between the unit and your hose bib is complete trash! Massive leaks in the metal fitting, I had to buy better quality short hose to connect to the house.

Leak free, sturdy, eye pleasing. Perfect to keep my 150ft hose enclosed

Nice hose reel, just make sure to use a standard or lightweight hose if it's 100ft. I put a Harbor Freight heavy-duty commercial hose on this thing and it had a hard time reeling it in without feeling like the handle was going to break. I got a Flexzilla 100ft hose and it works great!

Good and nice looking, easy to install, easy to clean and looks durable. Works better when well ankered.

Very easy to put together and is very sturdy. I like the sliding part that moves easy so you can evenly reel in the hose.

Good hose reel to keep things neat and tidy. I originally wanted to use a wall mount unit but given the tight space available and mounting options, this was the best way to go. Construction seems fairly solid. Plastic for the most part but easy to hookup and setup. The hose fittings took a bit of careful threading as the threads are plastic on the hose reel so you can cross thread very easily. Other than that, fairly smooth. So far it has been exposed to cold weather and rain. Not direct sun yet but the area I have it kept in does not get much sun so I am not anticipating warping issues with it. Will update the review as needed. But so far so good. Now I don't have a hose pile in the backyard as it is neatly wound up in the box.

Holds a great deal of hose... a bit of difficulty setting it up, but wonderful to use.... pulls out from all directions, you do want to take time rolling up the hose properly (to fit the most), but overall very happy with this purchase

I have utter disdain for this hose reel!!! It doesn't even deserve the 1 star I'm giving it! The hose was so difficult to wind around the reel, and to attach to the inside hose attachment, since it's built so close to the outer edge and not properly threaded. It took 3 freaking hours to set this up and then the disappointment, even after inserting a new washer, that the thing leaked. It now is simply a useless, but nice looking piece of deck furniture. I would highly advise anyone not to purchase this hose reel. Save your money, and your nerves!
