I used Arctic MX-4 on my gaming PC, and I’m very satisfied with the performance. Temperatures dropped by 5–10°C compared to the old paste. It’s very easy to apply, and the texture spreads nicely. Such a good and premium thermal paste is best for high-temperature CPUs. I used it for my Intel Core Ultra 5 225F processor, and it works very well. It really helps to cool down the CPU.

My first foray into anything PC- related EVER! After watching a few yt tutorials and guides online, I decided to go with this particular ARCTIC MX-4 Thermal paste since it seemed affordable and had generally favorable reviews. Like the title says, it reduced my laptop's temperature by quite a bit! And this is on a machine with an ancient processor that is from a different decade! A 3rd Gen Intel i3 !!!! I do not have any complaints, applying the paste was smooth and easy. You can trust this paste with your machine, she's a keeper!

Works. I might have applied a bit too much. But despite that it works. Apply small amount. Too much will increase your temps

been three years since i last applied it, its use it and forget for years type paste, temp are exact same after 3 years. would recommend.

I used ARCTIC MX-4 (Revision 4) on my HP Omen 16 laptop. When I first bought the laptop, the stock thermal paste applied by HP actually performed very well — noticeably better than both the MX-4 and the paste HP used later during a warranty motherboard replacement. After the replacement, I had only about a week of warranty left, and I didn’t realize the system was thermal throttling until warranty already expired. When I opened the laptop, I found that HP had used some kind of thermal putty on the VRAM and other components instead of original thermal pads and paste. I replaced that with proper thermal pads and MX-4, hoping for an improvement. However, the temperatures stayed the same — around CPU 100 °C and GPU 87 °C under load. At first, I thought my CPU just had poor silicon, but when I later tried ARCTIC MX-6, the results were much better: CPU 93 °C and GPU 73 °C under the same test (I posted a photo of this result). When I removed the heatsink, I also noticed that most of the MX-4 had been squeezed out, leaving very little paste actually covering the CPU and GPU surfaces — maybe due to its low viscosity or a thinner consistency. This could explain the weaker performance. For about ₹190 more, MX-6 is the better option (during sale) — it’s newer (Revision 4) and seems more consistent in quality. Ótimo produto, era esperado que reduzisse cerca de 20 graus da minha CPU do notebook no máximo e reduziu 27, fiz um mod num VAIO de 2011 de 4 GB de RAM que agora tem 16, e está voando veio no prazo e bem embalado. Vou aproveitar o que sobrou e trocar pasta antiga para aplicar num xbox 360 e em um One, Nota 10!

I’ve used this on everything: own laptops, own PCs, friends and family's machines, and even on people that are coming to me to repair their machines. It never misses. Nobody complained, no returns due to heating issues. Why 5-Star? First, foolproof application. The consistency is perfect not too runny, not too thick. It spreads evenly without making a mess, which is a lifesaver for beginners and pros alike. However, please pay attention at how to handle it - or maybe watch some videos online before applying, if you don't have experience. Applied in excess is also not good :) Then, it's the peace of mind. This is carbon-based and non-conductive, so you don't have to sweat if a tiny bit escapes onto the motherboard. Unlike liquid metal or silver-based pastes, there is zero risk of short-circuiting your expensive hardware. Remember, read carefully before trusting people on internet. Longevity. Well, ARCTIC claims it lasts for 8 years, and they aren't kidding. I’ve opened up builds from five years ago and the paste was still tacky and performing well, rather than turning into a useless dry crust. Results as you go, how I like to call it. On my last GPU repaste, I saw a drop of 12°C under load. It’s the cheapest way to extend the life of your hardware and keep your fans from screaming. Pros: Excellent thermal conductivity. No "burn-in" time required (reaches peak performance immediately). 4g is plenty (some people say for at least 5–10 applications, my experience says that depends on the builds :) ) Very affordable. Final thoughts. Don't overthink it. Unless you are doing extreme sub-zero overclocking, this is all the thermal paste you will ever need. It’s reliable, safe, and performs brilliantly across PC and console hardware. Highly recommended!
