Awesome and cheap product!
WE LOVE THIS THING!I kept watching those informercials for that Magical-type screen door. I had a feeling that those things were not as they seemed. So, I looked up the trusty reviews on Amazon. (Thanks reviewers!) Helpful, detailed reviews make a BIG difference. I can say that because of certain people's reviews I buy things and it turns out to be a great thing!About this screen! We've had it for a few weeks now. IT WAS AMAZING how quickly we installed it! I mean, I read that it said install in minutes, but I didn't believe it. I thought there were scews involved or that I'd have to measure out carefully where to put the velcro. BUT NO! It was super easy! We just kept making that pole longer (excuse me, I'm not technical). So, that 'tension rod' I think it's called, we just put it up and the screen was on.Eventually because of the unpredictable weather here in lovely California, it got so windy that I had to apply some of the side velcro. I did not want to because one might forget the velcro's there, but surprisingly we've done alright and it makes a BIG difference when it gets windy.I only had two minor issues.1. I measured my doorway and it seemed this would be an exact fit, but it wasn't. It turned out to be about 2 inches longer on each side. However, it does not leave a gap so it's all good.2. I wish the weights or however you call that were just a little bit heavier. If this is a summer thing, then you're good - but beware of those strong breezes.BUT for us, we'll be using this YEAR-ROUND to avoid flies entering the kitchen. So, some days when it gets really windy, I feel that extra weight would have helped.Oh, I've seen other reviews about darkness of some screens, etc. This is the PERFECT shade for me. I'll try to share a picture so you can see the screen in action.Overall amazingly cheap and GREAT product!

Super Easy to Install & Remove, Great Product
Lifesaver! Fabulous product! We live in a condo that only allows specific screen/safety doors that can be installed, all over $500!! Ridiculous rules. So we needed a non-permanent solution for air flow in a condo with no A/C ... and this is it! Easy to hang (we use the rod that comes standard with it & fits securely in the door frame), and 2 quick Velcro tabs in place, and let the air flow!! :-) We have an indoor-only cat, so we added a baby gate the keep her inside, as the bottom of this -- although weighted -- would easily let a pet in or out. The screen is super quick and easy to install and remove (literally less than 20 seconds) and it looks good, too. Wish we had learned of this product years ago. Love this, love that it's not permanent, and love the super inexpensive price, too. A really good solution for a big HOA problem.

very nice!
I bought this for a friend who lives in a senior independent living community. She's not allowed to install anything permanent, so we thought we'd try this.First, the positives-Good packaging, easy to open plastic box which can be saved to store the screen for later moves, winter, etc.Easy to install. We used the spring-loaded bar, threaded it thru the top pocket, and pushed it up into place. After a little adjusting, we put the super-sticky velcro patches in place on the door frame and we were done.Very sturdy material, seems very well constructed. The bottom was a flexible (if rather light-weight) weight bar which conformed nicely to the bottom of the door frame.Plenty of velcro patches were provided if you wanted to use that instead of the spring bar.The picture shows the screen hanging perfectly flat, but on her door there was enough material so that when you pulled the fabric down just a bit tight, it kind of curled in and left no gaps at all on the side. The only negative I have to say about it is that the screen material is not sewn to the very edge of the top pocket. This leaves a tiny gap near the top, which I think I can fix by taking it down and folding the pocket edge back a little. It may not be a problem, but it's there. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star for sure.My senior friend loves it! It's the first time she was able to have her door opened for fresh air in months. I took pics, which I will try to post, as the picture provided by the company is not adequate at all. One of the pics shows a very frustrated mosquito perched (do mosquitos perch?) on the other side of the screen, just minutes after installation.

Smelly, but pretty effective
I swear as soon as I started opening the packaging, the room was inundated with the strongest plasticy, chemical smell. That's ok, it should fade. (hasn't in a week, but it should soon, right?)Easy as cake to set up. Just slide the tension rod through the screen like you would a curtain, twist to desired width and hang. Voila! You're good to go. No, not really, but close! You still have to figure out how to get the length right. I tried rolling the top like toilet paper, but that didn't work. So, I folded the bottom over (where the weights on the bottom are, the curtain can be folded) and tucked it under the door frame. I am not about to put the sticky-backed velcro on my door. I don't need to deal with that ugliness in my door frame. So, I use a babygate to act as a seal; which is also nice for keeping the toddlers from just falling through. You get what you pay for. It's just a mess screen with a weighted bottom on a tension rod. If you are using as a bug-blocker, you have to remove it quickly to take it down and shut your door, or all the bugs will fly right in.Worthy investment if you are worried about spending a fortune on a screen door. This way, you can break it 5 times before you spent the same amount of money. Always a bright side.Pros:Cheap, works if you finagle it, tough screen materialCons:Cheap, works well only if you finagle it, not easy to adjust height, SMELLS awful, must remove before dusk, or the mosquitoes will still come inside since they are all hovering on the screen.

Good solution for apartment dwellers
I was not able to drill into the door frame to install a screen door. This was the next best option. It covers the door. I have it velcroed to the hinge side of the frame. It is weighted at the bottom. I used the tension rod to put it up. The other side opens to come in and out. It has gaps but all in all it is doing a good job

No more flying critters
Really pleased with this item. I always like having the patio door open, but after having a Hornet come flying in I decided to get this screen. No such little buggers have come in since. Easy to install, I tried using the pole at first, the Velcro is much better. My dog was a bit strange with it at first but got used to it.

The CAT'S MEOW!!!!
I live in a small Bachelor apartment & didn't want to have to get a rigid screen panel to put in my apartment doorway in order to open it to get a cross breeze, without letting my cat out. This SCREEN DOOR workds beautifully! And just rolls up when not in use. She can of course lift the weighted bottom, but I just added velcro to stick it down to the floor.
