Big Nate's Greatest Hits (Volume 11)

My kids love this book series and I am so happy. They are often telling me little facts and when I ask how they know they tell me "Big Nate!" These books keep them laughing and reading.

This book is perfect book for the reader that is not ready to give up pictures in books. It has enough dialogue and words to build my sons vocabulary. It has my son actually reading and not just looking at pictures with very few words. This book is mostly black and white with a few color pages spread throughout. I highly recommend the series as both my 9 and 8 year old son enjoy them.

My son loves this series. He used to struggle to get his 45 minutes of AR reading a week. Last nine weeks he was at almost 500% of the required score. He laughs out loud while reading and loves to out loud to me the especially funny parts. Finally a series that has allowed him to discover the joy of reading!

This whole series is great for boys who are reluctant readers. He reads well, just doesn't want to spend his time doing that particularly. But because these make him laugh, he reads them as fast as they come out. Reading is reading - who cares if it's comics, right?

My grandson loved and read in two days only in third grade

Our son hated to read until he met Big Nate. Now he reads them all and has discovered the joy of reading many other books as well.

I am a fan of Big Nate, and I was excited to find out it was combined with all the other books. However, about 25 percent of the book had parts I had seen before in previous books, and I was disappointed that the author had not come up with any new things to write about. Excluding that, the book was excellent!

My 11-year-old grandson loves these books! I gave him this one and "Big Nate: Great Minds Think Alike" for his birthday. He read them both right away and didn't want to put them down. Highly recommend these books!

Great book

Wonderful Big Nate book. Paper quality is good - which makes reading more enjoyable.Both my kids have re-read this a tleast 5 times over and over again - that's how good Big Nate is!!

Its big and has lots of stuff. They have lots of big nate books, this had lots of stuff they hadnt read and only a bit that they had.
