Pictionary

pictionary is great for a wide age group. my niece and nephew, who are ten and 8, found the jr version a little too easy. with the regular version, they can use their imagination more and learn new things that they may have never heard of before. plus, if they dont know what the phrase or item is, it can be skiped and they can draw something they do know on the cards. as they get older, they can follow the rules closer, but for now, we all enjoy a night of pictionary (adults and kids alike)!

We used Pictionary for our game time after our Christmas Dinner. We had 13 Adults and 6 children divided up into two teams. We modified the game a bit (didn't use the board part) because of lack of space. We used a large dry erase board and colored dry markers to play. We all had lots of laughs as we took turns trying to figure out what the answers were before time was up. Great fun for the whole family!

Meh, it's okay, but with smart phone apps and Google, you can make your own version of this game with house hold items. Probably cheaper too. PRO: 1. Arrived quick 2. Was easy to learn and play. 3. Lasted about a month, then.... CON: 1. We lost interest after a month, seems pencil and paper can't beat CGI and on-line entertainment these days. 2. Can not be updated, i.e. an electronic version of this would have been nice. 3. Add to the pile of board games. OTHER: Buy if you're a fan, and have parties at the house, pass if you think this is going to get 2 teenagers to break free form the internet.

I LOVE this game! I had a few small gatherings at my house and broke this out. Even though we are all adults we still had a great time. Played with some children mixed in and they are alright to play but if they are younger, they need help with the words. I choose not to have kids on my team when playing but that's just me.

Very fun and entertaining. We got it for my 10 year old son and we have been playing it almost every night. I wish the pack could be divided in easy, medium and hard setting, some of the concepts in the cards are difficult challenge for young children. Overall good value for the money.

Pictionary is an old standard but such a fun game. I love this for game night. If you don't know, it's like charades, but you draw the items instead of acting them out. Some of the pictures people try to draw are hilarious. Great fun.

My son had been wanting this game for quite a while and was thrilled to receive it. My only issue was how long it took to receive it. It was intended as a Christmas gift but it arrived about 2 weeks after Christmas.

This version of Pictionary, or perhaps just this seller's version, is defective. The cards sealed & enclosed in the box do not match up with the board or the directions. The cards have a green side and an orange side, with 5 categories. The directions call for cards with a red side and blue side, and the board has 6 color categories. The directions also mention 20 special cards which were nowhere to be found. As 10 college-educated adults, we were able to kind of make up our own rules and play the game and have a great time, but I am returning the game since it's very confusing to have the wrong cards.
