I chose this remote, because it was the only thing I could find to replace my fire TV Remote, which fell in a glass of water! I have only been using the product for 24 hours, however it was easy to set up, and use. I find that after a few minutes, it disconnects, and the next time you use the remote, you have to hit any button on the controller a few times for it to reconnect. So when the TV is off, you can’t use it to turn it on. NOW we are at 48 hours and it has stopped working all together. If you pull the batteries, and put them back it will work for only a few moments and then it shuts down. Yes I have tried new batteries even though the first set was new. Bummed!!!!

This remote works great with the Amazon FireTV stick. Easy to pair, the buttons have a nice click and great response, and the keyboard is very handy! With the integrated light is easy to operate at night.Also, the IR learning function allowed me to replace a Samsung remote for the basic tasks.And, as always, the item arrived quickly and in excellent shape.

As advertised, this product works 98%. The problem, comes in to play when you use Hulu on an an Amazon Fire device. The OK button will not work. This makes it impossible to select your programming. Since no one is stepping up to "own" the problem it isn't getting resolved. If you don't have this combination of product and service then by all means, get the product, it may be just what you're looking for.

This remote has so many problems that I returned it after a couple of frustrating hours. After you pair the remote it seems OK but you soon find that it does not work with all apps. On my favorite app the OK button does not work making the app useless. Since there is no microphone you loose that feature. Programming the remote was a nightmare. With luck maybe one out of 30 tries might program a key. it was so unreliable that I gave up even trying. I will state that the keyboard did work and does make entry easier but the microphone also does that. I have all manners of remotes from simple one to the Logitech Harmony series and never have I had such a problem programming a remote.

Works great with Amazon fire stick......just one problem, it turns off too soon so if you don't decide quickly or go straight to what you want you have to wait a few seconds to keep scrolling.

Yes, technically it pairs with it through bluetooth, but the functionality just isn't there. First of all, the thing doesn't work with my tv or anything so the Fire Stick is my only hope, but that's okay because that's what I bought it for. On the Hulu app you can move things around up and down but you can't select anything so it's useless for that app. Okay, well surely it works on other things, right? Basically it works to type things in with the keyboard but that's about it. If I go to search on the Fire Stick I can type in my search, but again I can't select anything so what good is it? The only thing it seems to work on is my Playstation Vue app on my Fire Stick. It seems to work there and that is it, so it is basically a paperweight with a keyboard on it. Just worthless. I emailed about the Hulu issue and the response was basically that apparently it doesn't work with Hulu. Seems the same applies to other things as well. I also bought a cable for this because of a review and the cable wasn't necessary. So overall between this and the cable I just wasted money for absolutely nothing.

You must buy a Dongle, and connect it to your fire tv. Or if you have a fire stick, you must buy a splitter and a dongle. Once you plug that in, you must restart the device. Then pair it as a game controller.Once I did that, the remote works great. But if you use a password, it’s easiest to use the number pad on the new remote, as the center button is not a number for the passcode.

1st don't bother buying this remote, it isn't as universal as the listing would lead you to believe.2nd the only thing it's good for is the qwerty pad, and let's face it how often do you really need that.3rd the "sleep mode" should be called "wait 30 seconds while furiously clicking the buttons to pause the show you were watching because your child got up out of bed mode". This remote sleeps like the dead and has to wake up then reconnect then communicate. This wouldn't be the end of it's usefulness if it weren't for the fact that it falls asleep faster than a narcoleptic watching a tax law documentary.4th only a handful of the buttons are programmable, so forget this replacing more than a couple of remotes.
