Not too bad, actually!!!
I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now and gave it an honest try. I saw some others saying that it seemed “stuck” on lower readings like .2 or .3. I was afraid for a hot minute that I was going to be one of those people. I am currently in week 3 of my ketosis diet (I would NOT use this tool for anything medically related or more serious than the diet). At the beginning of week three, my numbers started to go up significantly. They still fluctuate quite a bit but it did seem to show me the upward or downward trend whenever I made a macro adjustment, so I will continue to use it to monitor my general situation. Fat adaptation is more important than chasing ketones, so I attempt to tell myself as long as I’m above a .4 I’m most likely in a good fat burning zone. Some would argue you still can be burning fat with only a .2 reading depending on how efficient your body is. Is it worth the money? Mehhh. I would have priced it at $25 at best. And the beeping noise on it is SO loud and obnoxious af. I can’t discreetly check my levels without my husband making fun of me from another room! Lol!

A very helpful and cost effective tool for ketogenic diet
I found this little device very helpful the past two months while I starting a ketogenic diet. It let me know when I was in ketosis and I could watch the progress of my body learning how to burn fat instead of glucose. At one point it was reading over 4.0 and I became somewhat alarmed but additional reading told me it would be temporary and would start going down as my body adapted. I was able to watch the number decline to the point now where I am usually between 1.5 and 2.5. The readings seem quite consistent as i sometimes check the first reading with another 5 minutes later. I learned I could add a few more carbs than I ate at first without going out of ketosis. I have been able to balance my diet with the use of this instrument and my blood glucose monitor. I also like that I don’t have to use a blood meter because those strips are so expensive! I feel free to test whenever i want without worrying about the expense. Surely it has paid for itself by now. I wish I could do the same with blood glucose strips, since those are getting more expensive every month. I do make a point of not taking a fresh breath before blowing and expelling most of the air in my lungs by the end of the blow time. I think consistency in the blow helps its accuracy. It is probably not very accurate right after a meal of if you are drinking alcohol since it does measure acetone being expelled though your lungs.

One worked well and one did not...
This is the second Anntoo Ketone Meter I have bought. The first one worked great - seemed fairly accurate and definitely registered 0.00 for non-ketosis users. I left that one with family in another state and recently purchased another one for a newbie keto co-worker. It worked well at first and definitely registered 0.00 for our non-keto colleagues, while detecting ketones in my keto co-worker (we verified with pee strips). It's been just over a week and today, the meter is detecting ketones after running it multiple (>10) times with no one blowing into it. I even removed the batteries and tried running it a few more times with no one blowing into it. I put it away and took it back out over an hour later and ran it again with no one blowing into it and it gave a reading in the 3.5 range!Definitely something wrong with the unit I received and I will have to think about purchasing another one after I return this one. For the cost, I would worry about this happening again, only next time it might be outside of the return window. On a positive note, the beeps on this unit are much softer than the first unit I purchased.

Know when to blow!
It took me a while to figure out how to get readings similar to my blood ketone levels. I had been waiting through the 20 second countdown and then blowing as soon as the “blo” instruction appeared. I ran out of breath after about 6 or 7 seconds and consistently got low readings when compared to blood level readings. On rereading the instructions, I see that the measurement is of the last 5 seconds of the 10 second blo time. The instrument was only reading my ketone level for 1or 2 seconds! I then started blowing at about 3 seconds into the blo measurement and could continue blowing until the 10 second signal. My readings were then much more in line with the blood ketone measurments.

Accurate and convenient
Definitely recommend this product. I have used this for about a week side-by-side with urine strips and receive very similar readings, so for the purposes of ketogenic type diets it's a good thing.Blowing is more convenient than using a urine stick and in time will cost less money, so that's all good.Only complaints I have of the device is the amount of time you have to actually blow into it to get a good reading; it may be comparable to other brands, but I have no comparison data.I was also slight disappointed that no batteries were included in the package.

It worked extremely well.
Very happy. Totally works.Update: after 3-ish months of it living in a kitchen drawer and regular gentle use it suddenly stopped working. Changed batteries and nothing. It just died. Was never dropped, didn’t travel around, lived in a drawer and rcvd zero abuse. I believe it was very accurate. Then, suddenly and without warning it abruptly stopped working.

Really works great!
After starting the Keto process I ordered this little ketone meter to watch my ketosis levels. This works like a charm! It took me about two weeks (and lots of puffs into the meter) to get into a consistent ketosis level. I wouldn't call this a high quality piece of equipment, but it is so worth the money to help you go keto and see how your body is responding!

Exceptional Customer service and great product
I have been on Ketogenic diet under a supervision of a dietitian. This analyzer has been very useful to see if I am in Ketosis. I also use Ketone urine strips and glucose meter to check accuracy. The breath analyzer seems to be accurate enough to determine whether I am in ketosis or not, although it is not as accurate as blood analysis done at a hospital setting. After 3 weeks of use, it unfortunately started giving me a wide range of readings. I contacted the seller for help. They sent me a new replacement, no question asked.Great product, topped with exceptionally good customer service.I would recommend this product! Thank you!
