Quick, fast and easy
For 100s, just pack the ends first. No issues if you use the right tobacco. I bought another automatic machine before this one that would not do 100s. Completely satisfied with this purchase, I've had it almost 4 months and it's worth the investment if you ask me. I've had no issues with the hopper, so much better than the manual machines, I can roll 2 cartons in about an hour, I started with a fine cut tobacco and had major issues. I switched to Golden Harvest ribbon cut tobacco and tubes and it's been smooth sailing ever since. This machine will most definitely do 100mm tubes with the ribbon cut tobacco, the moisture content of the tobacco used is also important. Me and my best friend switched from the manual topomatic to this and do not regret it for a second. We were both new to rolling your own, we roll about 6 cartons a month with no issues, it's quick and quiet, the only thing that could be any better is the powermatic 5 if you can afford that.

Works great and worth every penny!
This is for the Powermatic 4 cigarette injector. I had a Powermatic 2 and it was a wonderful machine, I had about 3 yrs. I loved it to but I broke it. My fault not the machines. I bought the Powermatic 4, mainly for the hopper and delivery time given was faster. There wasnt a big price difference. I am so happy I did. It is so light, very smooth and I really like the hopper. You can't go wrong with either machine. Love them both worth every penny!

I’ll never go back!
I received the Powermatic 4 as a gift in April 2022. Unfortunately I cannot accesss the persons account to leave a review so hopefully this will be accepted. I had the Powermatic 2 but it broke after 6 months. I was new to RYO and hadn’t yet learnt that the key to these machines lasting is not overfilling the chamber. Less is more. Every time it jams, it’s one step closer to breaking. You’ll hear the injector sound weak and if it’s really trying hard to inject the tobacco. Eventually it’ll sound exhausted and the injector will try its hardest but just won’t work anymore. After a few feeble attempts, it’ll make a couple hums and then sound stuck for good. For those interested, there are YT videos on taking them apart, cleaning and fixing them if you’re interested. So it is possible to fix them if you’re so technically inclined. I am not. So I bought another P2 and that one lasted over a year. Even so, you’d still save $ if you had to replace the machine monthly (P2 is $55) as the savings are astronomical. These machines are, to me, very affordably priced. $71 and under is a dang good price for what these machine do. I used to pay over $200 a month on packs of cheaper cigs (in 2021). Now I pay $35-40 a month for tobacco & tubes. If you buy them in bulk, it’s even cheaper. It’ll cut the cost by at least 35% maybe more. My friend purchased the Powermatic 4 as a present for me and I was elated. It’s smaller and lighter than the previous versions and definitely way more powerful. Comparing the two, the P4 sounds much stronger when it injects. I thought the P2 was great. This one is amazing! I can’t believe all these years I was willingly being ripped off by buying packs at the store. Even if you still want to buy packs for the times you're out and can’t roll one, having this to use when at home will still save you a lot of $. I clean the tobacco (I’m picky about this part so as to not jam the machine or poke holes in the tubes) and remove any sticks, etc before filling the hopper. Not all injector machines have such a nice big hopper so this is an added bonus. It’ll hold about a packs worth of tobacco depending on how tight you roll. I make sure to fill the ends and after the cigarette is done, I throw it-filter side down-very hard against the table once or twice. Do this before removing anything sticking out of the end. If you do it right, the end result is a cigarette that looks like it has been lightly packed and is not weak where the filter meets the tobacco. You can remove any tobacco sticking out if any. Again, less is more. If it’s not done correctly or not full enough at the end (near the filter), it’ll bend and you’ll have to empty and retry. Even though you’ve emptied them, these tubes are still good to use. If you have to empty it 3+ times, it will get weak and I wouldn’t bother w it. The best tubes I’ve found are Zen brand but everyone has their favorite. Throw it one more time for a harder pack and a slower burn. Try to throw it so the filter smacks the hard surface evenly and w force. On average, one of my king size cigarettes burns for 8 minutes. I make sure to keep the machine clean and do not use tobacco that is dry or has a lot of tiny particles especially the dust in the bottom of the bag. That’s bad for the machine. In case the dust gets inside the machine, there is a small mechanism that pushes it out as much as possible on the side. There’s only so much you can do but so far it’ll be 3 years in April that I’ve had this machine and I’m so happy (and grateful) that it’s lasted so long. I think it’s high quality and the best RYO machine you can buy for home use. I even travel w it! I’ve rolled on trains and buses and in public. I found that Boveda humidity packs (expensive but worth it!) or hydro stones (cheap but must be re-moistened 2-3x a week) help to keep the tobacco moist so there’s little waste. The only issue I’ve recently had is that sometimes the AC adapter doesn’t work. I have to fiddle w the cord a little. Eventually it’ll come on but I think it’s going out. It’s not the wall plug but the other end where it connects to the machine. I’m not sure if I can find another or a generic AC adapter of the same specifications would work? I’ll have to contact the seller. Even w the cord issue, I cannot recommend this any higher!! It’s a $ saver and so easy to use once you get the hang of how much tobacco to use. I will never go back to buying prepackaged cigarettes again. If you’re not sure if it’s worth it, PULL THE TRIGGER! You can always return it if you’re unsatisfied but you won’t be. I did read a few people received machines that were defective and I’m sure that occurs w everything so I can’t fault the seller as long as it’s returnable which it is.

Perfect Cigerette Every Time
Update----- 6/23/23 ---- Motor seems to have lost most power it had out of box -- returning - will exchange and try one more time.... As of writing - this product works the best of the power roller machines I have owned... Near factory made cigarettes - I do hope it will last as long as the machines I currently own - seems well made - motor appears to be strong... I can roll twice to three times as many cigarettes as I have in the past - so this purchase is the perfect purchase for me thus far... If you have Amazon Prime - I would suggest giving it a try - I would think it will be as is stated here for you also. One thing to remember - each machine made by said company can have flaws - I have noticed with my other power machines - the motor power is not the same on every machine - some are very weak and returned for refunds... Overall at this time - about 5 days of use - I give it a thumbs up and would recommend it...

Worth it!
I can’t believe I didn’t order this years ago! I have been doing roll your own for several years, but always manual rollers, many different styles. I’ve even had the manual version of this model. What I liked the best was the quality of cigarette this produced. No cherry falling off! The evenness and consistency of the smoke delivered. No more void spaces. I can roll a pack full in just a few minutes. My older hands appreciate this. Outstanding!

The Fun Didn't Last Long - 40 Tubes Filled Is How Long It Took
I’m a skeptic when it comes to shopping for any product so I tend to read a ton reviews, watch several YouTube videos and go as far as having a look at product demos before making a purchase. I did all of those before choosing the Powermatic IV Electric Roller. If I’m honest, I wasn’t too far into my due diligence before I was sold and placing my order. I was checking my delivery status daily. couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I had already purchased tubes and tobacco so I would be ready once the deliver did come. Straight out of the box it was all I dreamed it would be and more. I was particularly impressed by the strong durable look and feel of the product. It didn’t feel cheap but instead very well made. It’s a tank! I wasted no time getting to it. I was ready to “roll.” Did I just get an eye roll. :D What can I say? I'm on a ... Anyway, by using the Powermatic I managed to roll cigarette after cigarette flawlessly, AT FIRST. I’ve used manual crank tube injectors in the past and if you’ve ever used one, you know, it’s near impossible not screw up a few rolls along the way—there’s always that first throw-away pancake. Yet here I was with a success rate of 40 some-odd cigarettes without incident, but then, suddenly the machine started jamming. I paused on the first jam, cleared the chamber per instructions provided by the manufacture which, by the way, were clear and easy to follow. You don’t see that much nowadays with any product. I wasn’t overloading the chamber and it wasn’t a case of uneven tobacco distribution which the instructions warn about and yes, I read them. We don’t throw them out unless they make no sense, right? It just, for no seemingly good reason, started to jam. Once the chamber was clear, I used the provided brush to be sure everything was clear, no blockage of any kind, activated the shaft once (without tobacco) to make certain no tobacco was stuck to the injection shaft itself. All was clear to get back to it. Upon returning, I rolled out about three cigarettes and it jammed up on the third. I cleared that jam again. I tried using a little less tobacco (thinking maybe I’m getting a little heavy handed unintentionally) and that worked without incident but if you can’t fill the tube, then you’re wasting money on tubes. The machine was suddenly okay with ONLY enough in the chamber which left about a three-sixteenths inch of space between where the tobacco stopped and the tip of the tube, not the butt end. Although, sometimes the tobacco wouldn’t even make it all the way back to the butt end of the tube. I had gone from being able to fill the tube to the brim to jam after jam and trust me, it wasn’t my jam at all. These were just out of the blue issues and all of a sudden which made no sense after my first successful run of rolling. I gradually added a little more tobacco incrementally seeing if I could get back to the quality of rolling I had seen initially but once I reached the necessary amount of tobacco needed to reasonably fill a tube the Powermatic started jamming. My enthusiasm quickly dissolved. 40 cigarettes rolled, with absolutely no issue and then major malfunction. Then I noticed a key change between my successful rolling vs this new and expensive malfunction. The shoot where the tube attaches is a mechanism which extends to grip the top of the tube while the tobacco injection shaft pushes the tobacco into it. The little gripper engages when the lever moves to the down position and as the shaft extends out and into the tube, the little gripper releases as the shaft retracts back inside the unit allowing the cigarette to drop freely. This little gripper I noticed was continuing to hold the tube tightly (not releasing as it had on successful rolling) and I believe some sort of mechanical failure may have occurred with that component and causing the change in rolling. I don’t know for certain. All I do know is that I wanted so badly to have a good experience with this machine and I did for the rapid and short time it took to roll up 40 cigarettes. It was shocking to find that something that looked and felt so durable to the touch wouldn’t outlast a manual crank tube injector. The Powermatic certainly didn’t meet my expectations and I suspect, want to think anyway that maybe I got a rare lemon. It happens. Hopefully it works swimmingly for you if you so choose to go with it. I’ve uploaded a video of the Powermatic working flawlessly. I was so excited the night it came I used it as my subject matter to try out some new film gear I had bought recently. You can see in the video how the tube rests on the shoot, little gripper holding it in place and how the shaft injects the tobacco, the tube drops down at about a 45 degree angle and freely pulls away. Those were the effortlessly rolled cigarettes. I included a short clip at the end showing one of the malfunctions that happened when it's not jamming. I’m of the opinion that the little gripping mechanism for whatever reason has started to cause the jamming. Hoping my experience helps you in your considerations.
