Magnetic Driveaway Kit

Wasn't gonna buy with other poor/average reviews, but had no choice while waiting for rails to be delivered. The magnet is good enough to hold in place while attaching the awning, and holds well in place with the guy ropes when fitted. Definitely recommend if you can't have a rail fitted to your van.

This product is not for for purpose. The magnet strength is near non existent. A token of attachment to let you know you've not been completely duped but the second it's touched it falls off. I've never been so disappointed in a product. We had to go and buy bungee ropes to to hook the awning tent on. Cannot stress enough DO NOT BUY. wish I had read the reviews because it would appear my opinions are the same as others who wasted good money. M. Bell. Scottish Borders.

It would probably work better on a van with a flat roof. My roof however, has a curve, so, it was very reluctant to stay on the roof. Also , the roof has to be very clean.I’ve used it in combination with suction cups that kept things in place, my wife also contributed by sewing a couple more fixing loops.

Bought this for our Nissan Elgrand camper and does the job perfectly.Would recommend using a guy rope over the van to tack it down though as even a small gust of wind will throw it off. Wouldn’t work well without it.

So this was bought to hold secure my awning to my van as I didnt want to have anything permanently on my van.I read the reviews and was put off but given there's nothing else really out there thought why not..In short its magnets are weaker than the UK economy and id say a sneeze could blow it off..ANY weight what so ever makes it slide off but and there is a but if you have straps that go over your vehicle and they attach to the awning taking the weight then this does help ever so slightly to keep the awning in position.Essentially you can make it work but if you're relying on it to solely keep your awning attached to your van you've got more chance of solving the world's problems on your camping trip

Waste of money useless.No where near strong enough, first little tug it fell off.

Bought this with also purchasing extra strong magnets and still didn’t work .. ruined my week away with my daughter .. worst thing I’ve ever bought .. now just sat in my shed .. complete waste of money

Purchased this to attach our drive away air awning, I almost changed my mind after reading some reviews, but so glad I didn’t.The magnetic strip is really strong, it fits my Mark 5 Transit perfectly (just above the gutter).Everything you need is in the kit including figure of 8 etc. Great price and delivered quickly first class. So happy with this purchase!
