Samsung Original Galaxy S10+ Protective Clear View Folio Cover Case - Black

I have never bought an original phone cover product before. I have previously always purchased a generic brand due to not wanting to pay a premium price for something that completes the same function at a fraction of the cost. However, for some reason I chose to purchase this Samsung original clear flip case to keep the phone appearing sleek and provide some protection, whilst allowing me to view any alerts easily through the front cover.I must say I am very pleased with the quality of the cover. I opted for the green cover to match my phone, and personally I find it very pleasing aesthetically. Further, the cover does not add any extra bulk to the phone, which I do prefer over the generic brand covers that I am used to using. The ability to see alerts is also a bonus. The only, very slight, negative is that if you bend the front cover back to the rear of the phone it does then leave a gap when closing the cover as it is not magnetized but it does eventually fold back flat. It is not enough of a negative for me to minus a star for this product.Overall, I can honestly say I have never been more impressed with a phone case, and would not return to using generic cases following this purchase.

Not the cheapest case on the market but well worth it. This case is good enough quality to last the life of the phone if need be. Had both the black and white versions and both look smart and work well with the touch screen when closed. Great case and fast delivery.

This is a lovely Samsung case. Perfect for my S10+. It arrived in genuine Samsung packaging and fits the phone snug. Really lovely quality feel and doesn't add any bulk to my phone either. The only slight thing I can pick on is that there are two "cut outs" on the inside of the flip case. One circle in the bottom left corner and one over the fingerprint sensor. You can't unlock your phone with your finger through the case at all, it just doesn't work. You can answer calls though through the case and use the touch screen for limited tasks. The case is also thib enough that it doesn't affect Google pay either.

Its a good case as it is a genuine product it does have a quick view when closed doesnt lock closed but does fit snugly keeps the screen and back well protected but its a bit expensive for wht it is

I'm sufficiently embarrassed to say that this is only the second time in 20 years that I have bought a genuine phone case! I was always put off by the price but this genuine Samsung Clearview case was discounted and I am pleased I bought it. After a succession of cheap, ill-fitting cases, it's comforting to have the real thing. The fit is excellent, the protection substantial and it looks amazing. My screen is immaculate.

Excellent price and item. Original Samsung. Had on phone for a month now. No problems. Nice case. Keeps the scratches off the phone as much as realistically possible. ....the case itself as a few scuffs now through day to day wear. Good quality item.

Used case for 11 months now, thrown it around, dropped it, been in my pocket with keys, pocket change alsorts. Its a bit marked, it looks a bit second hand but the notifications work perfectly. It does everything it should when opening and closing. Best bit is my actual phone is unscathed and undamaged, hence the case is doing its job brilliantly. I bought a new case because of the marks but haven't even put it on yet as they don't bother me and the origin case works fine.

<TL:DR>+ Good build quality.+ Fits nicely on phone.+ Allows wireless charging.+ Protects your screen.- Clearly shows fingerprints.- Doesn't show notifications more than a few seconds, even when "Always On Display" is active.- Expensive for what it is, although I managed to snatch this when it was 50% off.<BUILD QUALITY>I was pleasantly surprised with the build quality, the case both feels and looks high quality.It's got a nice and shiny black plastic and the clear plastic has a sort of "transparent diamond pattern" which is supposed to help reduce light reflections. On the inside of the clear plastic, there is a dark grey rubber-sheet which will keep it from scratching your screen which is nice, however, the drawback of that is that it reduces the brightness of your screen when it shines through.<SOFTWARE>Here is where my biggest gripe is.While the case doesn't really come with its own software, it does have some interactions with the software of your phone. When I purchased this case, it was my understanding that it would function like the AOD (Always On Display) and that you would always see your notifications through the case. However, this isn't the case. I even purchased TWO cases just to make sure one wasn't broken. When the case is closed it doesn't show ANY notifications, you have to manually click the power button (or quickly open/close the case) for the notifications to show for about 5-6 seconds.This basically makes the case USELESS (if you don't count the protection it provides the phone).I mean, what is the point of a "clear view" case when you still have to interact with your phone to see your notifications? Might as well have gone with a regular "protective case" and a screen protector instead.<CONCLUSION>Seeing as this doesn't do what I purchased it for, which was to be able to protect my screen while being able to see when I get messages, emails etc while my phone lies on my desk, I will return ONE of the cases that I purchased and keep the other one for now.It does protect my screen and for now, I will just leave the case open on my desk so that the AOD can do what it does best. However, I really think Samsung and their retailers should make sure people are aware that it DOESN'T work as the AOD does, which is a shame.If you want a case that protects your screen and don't mind having to look at your phone to see if you have any notifications, I would recommend getting this during a discount period. Otherwise, I'd rather pay the full price for the LED version.
