So far so good. Installation was pretty simple. It easily cuts with a pair of dykes. The hooks and small plates that it comes with where easy to handle and work well. They are perfect with my black solar panels. Almost unnoticeable from the ground. Just a tip, overlap the corner on one edge by three to four inches. Snip a few of the horizontal links at the bottom and fold up. For me it was three snips. Then fold the mesh over and install a hook and plate over the corner. Push down on the folded up section and boom!! Neat looking corners that keep the critters out. The sides of the panels where the frame work juts out is also simple. Basically just hold the mesh over the frame and snip its shape out with the dykes, as you move down the run. I made sure not to go to low so I could mold the mesh close to the bottom of the frame. Quality of the mesh seems pretty good. Honestly don’t have anything to compare it to. Time will tell as far as rust and stuff, but I’m not too worried about that. The coating it comes with is good quality. I would definitely recommend if you’re ok with going on your roof, and in my case some work off the ladder. This actually saved me over 900 $. I needed two rolls and did the job in about 4 hours. My solar panel installer quoted me 1200$ to do this job..

It’s gets the job done. It’s pretty basic stuff. Just a pain being on the roof. But I’m glad I did this now vs 5 months when it is 100+ outside! The netting is very bendable so no issues getting the right angles. It comes with a QR code that takes you to an installation video on YouTube. I would say it isn’t the best video, but you get the basic idea. There are better videos on YouTube especially on installing around corners. The hooks aren't very strong. They are more there to hold it in place vs tightening it up. I bent a few of mine by putting too much pressure. I adapted by bending the netting at a better angle to line up with the panel and didn’t have any other issues.All in all very happy with the product. Hopefully the coating holds up the outdoor elements.

I have 15 solar panels where pigeons decided to make their home. This was easy to install and keeps the critters out. No complaints.

Not a compensated comment. Well it works, no more pigeons under my solar panels, wow, I'm pretty happy with this product. The quality is there, I say it is a little bit too much for the job, the mesh is very sturdy, you have to press hard to mold it against the roof surface. This might be good for you, but to me is a little overkill. The hooks, the pins could be sturdier, maybe a little more heavier gauge, I found them to be a little bit too soft to retain their shape under pressure. The price, I think it could be manufactured more economically and be just as efficient! I would highly recommend this product if the price would come down!

Got this to keep peigions from nesting under solar panels. Easy to install, thicker gauge than others. It took about 2 months for the peigions to find another home once installing this. Well worth the price, I'm looking forward to not having to clean peigion waste from the gutters next year 😀

A pair of pigeons attempted daily for weeks to build a nest under our solar panels, soiling our roof and patio with their droppings. I tried streams of water, noise, and daily reached under the panels with a slat of wood to destroy their nests, which they persistently rebuilt. We have a low roof of modest pitch, and I was able to install the mesh in a few hours spread over 3 days, using only a tinsnips after viewing a how-to video on the PK website. (I'm 75 years old and not particularly handy. Biggest problem was stepping onto the ladder to get off the roof -- be careful!) One of the pigeons still comes by to stare at the mesh, but can no longer get under the panels. $30 for the extra 30 clips seemed excessive, but I didn't want to run short if I needed to space the clips a little closer than recommended and hey, it worked.

I purchased Bird/Critter Guard because I just had solar panels installed and I saw the migration of my neighbors' pigeons migrate to my roof top. Also, I was sent a picture of a nearby home where the entire rain gutter was filled with pigeon waste! My Bird/Critter Guard was installed by a friend, and he said it was easy to install and secure. It has only been up for three weeks, and I am glad to see the pigeons did not have enough time to establish a new home territory. Currently, my neighbor who has the pigeons nesting under his solar panels, is waiting for his order of Bird/Critter Guard to arrive from Amazon! It is the best solution to a very nasty problem.
