I love this hood. I wear it solo or with the additional lower mask on those colder days. I alternate between having the main mask over my mouth while I run and using the lower hood when I am on my 14+ mile runs as moisture stars to build up. It gives each mask a chance to dry off and that way you never have the issue where you have a soaking wet face mask giving your face a bright red appearance from wind burn due to excessive moisture on your cheeks etc. I would definitely buy it again and recommend it to anyone who loves to run in the cold. I ran the other day when it was 7 degrees Fahrenheit and I was perfectly fine with this. I also used it in 30 degree weather and it wasn't even close to too hot. Highly recommended.

Wore this in temps between 34°-38° on my bike. Kept my head and ears from freezing. It was a bit cool to start riding at 10-15 mph but once I got warmed up I stayed there.This is a nice quality balaclava. I like the multiple use ability. You could start out full faced and as the day warms up you can make this into anything you want to keep you comfortable.Just keep in mind, if you wear glasses they will fog up when you are wearing this as full faced. On my bike I was able to keep my glasses from getting to foggy by keeping moving and by blowing my exhaled breath downward.

Both the full balaclava and included neck warmer were LIFE SAVERS at Burning Man this year. I cannot recommend them enough. I was even able to use the neck warmer at a separate event to help filter some of the excessive amounts of cigarette smoke around me. Very, very, very, very useful.

I have a huge head, I have to use XL Fit-band caps. So I was nervous when I ordered this for a costume I was planning, this is super strechy and it will fit any size. At times I forgot that I had it on. Used it for 4 hours straight in tropical weather, so you know that the material is breathable and comfortable.

This ninja scarf works great under a motorcycle helmet. I use it on 80+ days, and I don't feel any hotter with it on than I do wearing my head bucket without it. Unlike some of the other designs, this one allows you to easily position the mask so that it sits underneath your chin. This allows unrestricted airflow, and still provides sufficient coverage to protect your helmet liner and cheek pads.

You found the Neck-Gaiter, 2nd Skin, Ski Mask, Baclava you were looking for!!!Okay seriously though, I have gone through many different products and this is absolutely the best thing I have tried on. First, they give you 2 products, not just 1!!!! You get some sort of satin or silk undergarment which feels absolutely incredible against your skin. The warm combined by these two products together is amazing. In fact, I ended up having to take off the black one because I was so warm (Winter Park High Temp 31'F / 0'C). I will leave all my other ones at home and only take this one from now on. Also they are really tiny and will compact tightly to put in your backpack.

Great mask. When I do heavy duty brush removal with our weed eater, sticks, pebbles and debris fly up in my face. My safety glasses helped, but I needed another layer of protection. This mask has been very helpful in that it is thick enough to protect me yet not so thick that I overheat. It also doesn't interfere with my ability to wear safety glasses when I am clearing brush. It is also easy to breath through so much so that it acts as a filter when I really kick up the dust on dry days.I also feel much safer. A few years ago, a wasp bit me on my arm. While I now wear long sleeves when working in the same area, this mask gives me great peace of mind that I won't be bitten in the face. The extra black/white neck garment accompanying the mask is handy as well for multiple uses.

I wish I'd had one of these when I was in the Air Force. This would be perfect for working on the flight line. Anyone who's ever been a Crew Chief or worked the flight deck on a Carrier in the Navy can relate. If you're in the military or have family that do aircraft maintenance and Civil Engineering get them a set. Black should be within regulations but check just to be sure.Again. This is excellent for flight line and flight deck work.
