I bought a pair of the 80800 model mirrors for my 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD NBS. The "fit test" indicated that they would fit, but they did not. They were slightly too small, and I cracked one of them attempting to install. I returned them for replacement, but received another set of the exact same ones. I returned these for refund, and sent an e-mail to Fit System. They replied that the 80900 model would fit. The 2007 model Chevy trucks came in 2 different choice of body style, the older (or "classic") style, and a new body style. I received the 80900 mirrors and they fit perfectly, almost look like they are factory installed once in place. Snapping them in place is just a little bit tight at the bottom, but you want them to be snug. Some folks had reported breaking the bottom tabs, but with the right amount and angle of leverage at the bottom it should not be an issue, I have taken mine off and put them back on several times. I only plan to use them when towing, don't want to leave them on otherwise lest they should happen to walk off. They work great while towing/driving. Yes there is a slight noticeable vibration, but not bad enough that you can't see what is behind you. I do plan to add some heavier foam tape to the inside of the shell where it nests against the truck mirror, which may eliminate this altogether (it came with 2 strips of light foam tape). Regardless, I am totally satisfied with these.

These fit my 2010 2500HD perfectly. Give me a perfect extended view behind the truck so I can see the out side edges of the camper. Snap on tight and do not move. The even allow my mirrors to fold in for tight parking when I am not towing.

I received my towing mirrors this afternoon and unboxed them. With the mirrors also came an instruction sheet on the best way to install the towing mirrors to the vehicle mirrors. I read the instructions before attempting to install them. Then as I tried to install them to the truck, I found it very difficult to get the bottom tabs to come up over the bottom lip of the truck mirror housing. I was exerting too much pressure (or what I felt was becoming too much pressure) for the truck mirror pivot post, so I stopped trying and took them off. I laid them in the yard in direct sunlight so as to warm them up and allow the towing mirrors plastic to expand just a pinch to facilitate fastening them to my truck without breaking something. After about 1/2 an hour of sitting in the sun I attempted to attach them to my truck again. Although heating them up with sunlight and they seemed to expand a hair in order to get the bottom lip of the towing mirrors over the truck mirrors, I found using a thin putty knife between the towing mirrors bottom lip/clip and the truck's mirror helped guide the clip/lip out and up just enough for them to snap into place as they should. The towing mirrors clip design seems tight enough where they are not going to fall off while traveling down the road and the looks of the towing mirrors are very nice. Inside the housing for the towing mirrors, each has two soft material strips to protect the finish of my truck mirrors and found that to be a nice touch. The shape of the mirrors on the towing part match the contour of the truck's mirrors perfectly without any undue gaps or spaces. The towing mirrors pivoting mirrors hardware seem to be firm/tight enough where they don't flop around, vibrate (too much) or lose its adjusted position but are giving enough where one does not have to fight with going too far up/down, left/right when adjusting them for the best view behind your towed vehicle. Although I would prefer the "Lock Down" feature of the towing mirrors I had on my 2000 Chevy (thumbscrew that tightened a padded bar onto vehicle mirror) I think these clip-on mirrors (for 2011 Chevy) will work quite nicely. I just wish these mirrors won't so difficult to attach. I haven't tried to take them off yet, but I can update this review if there are any issues that arise. (July 26, 2015): OK, I've had these mirror extensions on for a while know and I can express my long-term review on them. As I stated in my initial review that the mirrors were a tad tough to latch into position but I just removed them from my truck. I did not have any difficulty removing the extensions from the stock mirror (no tools needed like when I installed them). The mirror lenses on the extension do vibrate a bit while traveling down the road but no more than any other mirror extensions I've used on other vehicles. When one adjusts the lens, they stay in their position and there is no need to re-adjust over time. The tabs that hold the extensions to your stock mirrors are very secure and you don't need to worry about them coming off unless you want them to come off. In fact, I was parked at work and an inattentive driver, that parked next to me, clipped my mirror on the passenger side. The other driver was backing out (I was backed into parking space while he was parked "Nose-in"). His mirror caught the mirror extension of the passenger side of my truck and pulled the extensions and stock mirror towards the front of my truck. The mirror extensions did not budge from its hold onto my stock mirror but the contact did snap two of the three bolt/studs off that secure my stock mirror to the door of my truck. I got my stock mirror repaired without any problem but I was impressed that the after-market extensions held without an issue. In closing, I would recommend these towing mirrors to anyone that needs to view their 6 while towing a trailer.

These mirrors worked awesome on my Silverado 1500! They snapped right onto my stock mirrors with no hassle and fit really snug. I use them when I’m towing my bumper-pull Super Lite toy hauler, and they make a big difference—I can actually see everything behind me now. Super happy with the fit and quality. Definitely worth it!

Bought these for my 2011 chevy 1500 to use when i pull my camper. They work great and are very stable going down the road. Mounting them was super easy and they look good for what they are. would definetly purchase again

When I got these, I thought they were pretty good considering how cheap they are, as once installed, they were sturdy and looked factory fitted. The downside is they are very difficult to install, and it took a lot of manipulating to get the lower edge to clip into place. Now summer is here, and everything on my car is clearly suffering from heat expansion, the mirrors simply would not click into place. Again, it is the lower edge that is the problem as the clip for that is longer than the others, and therefore less pliable. Worst of all, the paint on my Yukon’s mirrors got scuffed and chipped in the process. I did eventually get them on after leaving them in the sun for a while to become more pliable, but in all honesty, they are a lot of hassle to install that I may not use them so often in the future. I might try shaving a tiny bit off the bottom clip to see if that helps, though.

Work good on 2011 gmc sierra. I can see traffic around my toy hauler now. Side mirrors stay put and dont move. They also have tension screws if they do move. People complained about the covers not fitting but why would you want them loose? Make sure the top 3 tabs are locked on. The bottom tab is the hard part because it is so long. I started from one side and slowly worked it on from one side to the other as i pushed the cover against the truck mirror. Take it off in reverse bottom then top. The bigger thumb tabs at the bottom help alot. The mirrors also still fold in with these on which is nice. I like them and if you buy these same ones at the box stores they are almost twice the price. Happy with these

I've used these on a 2012 Tahoe to pull a large Jayco popup from Oklahoma to Michigan and back twice. They offer some assistance, though their usefulness is in direct proportion to their cost. Simply put, they'll give you the $50 view. If you want the $350 view, spend the money and have OEM-style towing mirrors installed on your truck. These clip-on mirrors will enlarge your sight window a bit and allow you to focus on an area you wouldn't normally be able to see with your OEM mirror (like monitoring your trailer tires or things tied to the top of the trailer), but they aren't going to give you the view that a pair of extendable tow mirrors (i.e., "trucker mirrors") would provide. The pros: (1) they didn't fall off the truck; (2) I was able to install and uninstall them with relative ease without encountering the difficulties others have reported; (3) they weren't an eyesore when mounted to the OEM mirrors, as the fit is custom, so they kind of look like they belong on the truck; (4) the mirror stays put once you've adjusted it, and doesn't change position in the housing when you shut the door or hit bumps; (5) the mirror panels appear to actually be mirror glass, and not the cheap shaving-style mirror glass you would see in a shower mirror; and (6) they come with a decent cloth bag for storing them when not mounted to the truck. The only cons for me are the size and stability of the mirror. The mirror itself is a little too small to function well as a tow mirror; it needs to be both a bit wider and taller. I found it to be more of an oversized blind spot mirror that provided some added benefit for towing. It's also a little too sensitive to the vehicle and wind vibrations, and this is reflected (no pun intended) in the quality of the image you see in the mirror. They'll do the job if you're looking for an inexpensive way to improve your view of what you're hauling. If you're looking for a serious towing mirror, spend the money and have the OEM mirrors installed, because you're not going to get that capability here (nor should you expect to at this price). For what these are, they do a pretty good job.

Fit exactly as described. It does fit snug and will never fall off! Does what it says for a fraction of the cost of a set of factory style trailer towing mirrors ! Great value for the price and a good way to expand your view. It is stylish and looks factory installed from the front! Couldn`t be more pleased.

Great product !! They fit over mirrors very well and are a breeze to install and remove. Look like they came factory with the truck !! There is a little vibration that causes a bit of a blur but not bad. I recommend these tow mirrors, especialy for the price. I can see traffic behind me very good now. I have a 27 ft travel trailer.

Fit my 2011 Sierra perfectly. Nice and firm, I did not find vibration to be a problem. My truck does not have factory mirror caps and I could see how this would cause a fitment issue if it did. Great price, and shipped fast.

Bought these for my husband’s truck for towing our trailer. He is so pleased with them. They are easy to put on & off the truck. Just what he wanted. Work great.
