The CAP Barbell Olympic Triceps Bar is constructed of cold rolled solid steel with a black powder coated finish for durable, long-lasting performance. This bar features medium depth knurling for a non-slip grip when going heavy with revolving sleeves to reduce pressure on the wrists and forearms. The neutral grips offer a better overall grip, providing an efficient way to control your movements when exercising. Target the triceps, biceps and shoulders when using this bar. The collars are included to secure the weights; the bar accommodates weight plates with a 2-inch center hole (Olympic plates). The dimensions for this bar are as follows: 34. 25” L x 6. 69” W x 2. 76” H. This bar weighs 19. 28 pounds and has a weight capacity of 200 lbs.

A Robust Bar with Excellent Build and Finish
Looking to replace my threaded 1" tricep bar (with collars that work loose every time I use it), I saw this CAP tricep bar on Amazon, but hesitated because of the very critical reviews. I took a chance and ordered it anyway, since I have had good luck with CAP weights and bars in the past.Either CAP found a new supplier, or listened to the negative reviews and upped their quality control because I can't think of a single complaint about the bar I received. The black finish is obviously paint (no way we will get an anodized finish at this price), the welds are robust and clean, and the bars are the correct diameter for both my spring and locking plastic 1" collars. The outer part of the bar that holds the plates measures 6".The checkering on the handles is aggressive and deep for a secure grip, but not enough to make the bar uncomfortable to hold. The tactical black finish is nice change from my chrome bars, and it has enough heft to feel like a bar you would find in a public, rather than home gym (on my scale this CAP bar weighs 13.8 pounds, whereas my old threaded tricep bar weighed 12.8 pounds). I have been using this bar daily and the collars have remained tight and secure. Highly recommended.

a.m.a.z.i.n.g. value for your triceps but you must buy clamp/clip collar separately
I started working out at home 2 years ago so I purchased bunch of gym equipments as you can see in the picture. In addition to push ups and pull ups, I was using dumbbells and barbell for my biceps but I neglected on triceps because I really didn't enjoy triceps workouts and didn't know the best way to work them.My friend told me that triceps can actually get bigger than the biceps so the triceps workout is a must if you want to show off big arms and he's the one who told me about this triceps bar, which actually makes it easy to workout your triceps.I purchased threaded triceps bar last year because it was priced fairly low compared to other triceps bars, and it has become one of my favorite workout routines for my arms now so I decided to purchase another so I can keep one in my garage when I'm working out outside. This solid triceps bar is essentially identical to the chrome threaded triceps bar with just the following differences:[*] This one does NOT come with a clamp/clip collar so you will need to buy them separately[*] The knurling on this one is not as deep as the threaded chrome one. It looks like the black powder coated finish is so thick that it's covering some of knurling.BOTTOM LINE:5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend this triceps bar. Although you have to get clamp/clip collar separately, you can't beat this price. Truly an amazing value for its price! Hope this was useful... and if it was, please click on the helpful button below. Thank you!

Quality Product
I am enjoying using this bar in my workouts. It built to last and the price is low. I would highly recommend this bar.

Decent for the price
I've used this for 3 weeks now and have had minimal to no paint chipping so far I think they have improved the quality of paint on this product or maybe the other reviewers are just rough with their stuff and rub it on concrete or something. There definitely is a quality control issue with these though... it's only a minor issue, but when I received this item I noticed that there was something inside the bar which would make noise when moving it (imagine pieces of welding inside the bars moving around). Other than that minor issue, I have nothing to complain about. It's a triceps bar at a great price. I mainly use it for bicep curls, overhead tricep extensions, upright rows, and 1arm rows.

When the Gyms Close You Can Still Workout!
This Standard Tricep Bar is 13.5lbs, has a nice shiny black finish, is very strong and well made. It's a great value for the money and I highly recommend it for your home gym.. really is the 1nch size because I had a little trouble finding spring collars that would fit because what I had was too large otherwise I'd give it 5 stars instead of 4... The Euway single pair of spring collars that came with the small pouch were the only collars that fit. Here is the link for those exact spring collars.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0894SXLC6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabt1_ruuXFb3VM0SVN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Came without fasteners to keep weights on and is almost useless without purchasing the ends needed
The bar itself has substantial weight to it and definitely more than I expected. It also came with these thin plastic washers pretending to be useful in holding any weights in place. Maybe it would hold 5 pound weights but 10lbs is risky having had a set slide right off onto a very expensive tile floor. I doubt I would have purchased this if I knew there would be no ends to properly hold the weights secure on the bar. Until I find proper ends this bar is worthless to me for my needs.

Homemade... shoddy...
What a piece of junk. Amazon has been letting some shoddy products in. This bar is obviously home-made in someone's garage. The welds look comical, the coloring across the whole bar seems inconsistent (more on that later), and even one of the handles is welded on crooked. After using it for the first time last night I noticed silver dust and other flakes falling on my clothes and on the floor. This leads me to believe that this bar wasn't dipped in chrome, but spray painted silver! This bar will get the job done, but I will be putting on goggles and rubbing it down outside and taping it up.

Solid Bar, good price!
I got the chrome bar version and the finish is nice. The bar is about 20lbs and I like the spacing of the handles, not too close together. Lot's of room for many plates, easily can get over 100lbs on it with 10lb plates. I like the plate stops with a bit of rubber. The welds are a bit rough, but not too bad, it's a weight bar, not a piece of calibrated equipment. I can do many exercises with this bar, French Curl, Standing triceps press, close grip bench press, front shoulder press, bent over close grip rows. Highly recommend.

Great bar!
I bought and returned two tricep bars from Fitness depot. they were so pourly made. Handles were out of square by 1/4" they were terrible. The handles on this bar are within 1/16. Love the stoppers for the plates and the rubber is a nice touch as well.

Must for triceps
So far so good. Not finished properly and got some chrome dust on my hands and you can easily wipe it off. Knurling on the handles is not the best but it’ll do just fine with gloves.

Solid bar
Bar is solid and was as described. I wasn’t sure if it would be flimsy but it’s great, very happy with this purchase. Note - no collars included which is in the listing, I just didn’t read it until after.

Not as described....
The diameter isn’t 2 inches, it’s 2 cm and there are no collars included making this useless to me. I tried to return and amazon isn’t giving me any options. Frustrating!
