The Ring tone is actually loud. Our daughter uses this phone and it's going off constantly.... trust me, its not quiet. Its a good, durable phone of you're looking for a simple non smart phone for yourself or your kids. Plus, if it gets dropped once or 500 times... it'll still likely work! Our daughters does and she even dropped it in water once.

This phone worked for one day! Super crap phone. Set it up with a US mobile sim, it worked on day one but since then it was not able to send or receive calls or texts. Everything just fails automatically. I liked that it wasn’t a smartphone but it was so hard to use and just honestly isn’t worth it. Glad it was cheap because it’s in the trash.

This phone is outrageously good for 20$. Works with Mint mobile, which uses the T-mobile network; be careful here as I believe because some providers like AT&T dropped 2G phones, of which this is one. The phone is indeed unlocked, though I've heard that it helps to use whatever SIM card you have in a normal 4G/5G phone first for a bit then putting it in this. This usually bypasses phone networks' restrictions on 2G phones. Also to avoid the mistake I made, I believe this phone uses a micro or something sized SIM; if you use a nano SIM which is what's available on most modern phone it wiggles a little in the slot. It still works, but consider getting an adapter for the SIM. I just wrote way too much about this being a 2G phone, but really, this phone is awesome. It calls, texts, plays music fantastically (with a SD card), with easy-to-use and thoughtful UI (of course no fancy apps or app store). The screen is not large, but it is enough for everything you would do here. The phone is basically unbreakable; if anything the back case and battery might pop out but it wouldn't stop working.

I bought this to replace a similar but older blu phone. This works but 1) you can’t choose to turn on one or the other sim which was an excellent feature in my older blu phone and 2) the battery lasts a few days at most compared to some 2 wks in the older phone. The reception seems poorer as well. It works but not as good as I had hoped.

I am having the worst time with this phone I cannot get the SIMs card to work I can't get the SIMs card in the right spot this phone does not come with good directions it is just undoable I have tried for the last 8 hours my dad needs a phone so bad and I can't use this phone why can't I find a video how to put the SIMS card in why doesn't it work what's going on

Perfect for what I needed it for! For some reason (that makes no sense to my brother haha), I wanted to keep my old South FL home phone number. It originally went from a Landline, to Vonage, then to Ooma for 20 years. I switched to the free plan for Ooma (only playing taxes which came out to like $5+ a month). I then decided to take the journey to port it from Ooma to Google Voice. After about 16 days it finally ported over to Ting! Which led me to this phone. I cam looking on Amazon for a cheap unlocked GSM phone to use with Ting. This fit the bill. Decided to take a shot and it did what I needed. Took a little while with some searching on Amazon to figure out the thing cause the directions are pretty worthless. Used a nail clipper (I have no fingernails haha) to pry it open. To do that on the bottom right (as in my 2nd pic) just pry in the groove there and it'll come apart eventually. You'll prob have to work around it to get it all off. Then after figuring the right position for the sim card (last pic) got that going. I first tried the top part thinking that's where it goes, but it has to go all the way down. It works with Ting just fine! They got great customer service by the way. This was the cheapest way for me to port the number. I took a picture of the way the battery goes. It only goes in one way. I saw another question about using the flashlight, to do that you can access it from the menu or long pressing the 0 button that has the icon. To turn it on you long press the Phone icon on the right with the slash through it (and very little power icon I just noticed). Volume sounds really loud. Can't comment on battery since I've only taken one call so far to verify my number with Google Voice. This phone screams perfect for kids to stay in touch with their parents. I think I'll keep it as a backup phone and one to travel with (if that ever starts happening again) abroad. Overall outside of the lackluster instructions, it seems like a great phone for what it is.

Read fine print or buy SIM card they suggest ! Great for the brand didn’t connect to big brand that is user error not on them.

Not worth it, at all. SIM card does not work. It was a purchase wasting time and energy. I do not recommend.
