Leef Magnet USB 3.0 16GB USB Flash Drive with LED, Magnet Cap and PrimeGrade Memory (Silver)

Oh, how I wish I would have read some of the other reviews. I'm not willing to have to use a hammer to install this thing in a USB port, but apparently, that is what I will have to do. I have never had to use such an excessive amount of force to install or remove a flash drive before and it is obvious from other comments that this thing is not made to USB specifications if it doesn't properly fit the port. The amazingly fast transfer speed claim is an absolute, flat-out lie. If I can only write to this drive at 25 MB/second and the read speed is 120 MB/second (which *is* fast) then I can effectively move files at only the slowest speed. If I were using it to write files once and read them many times, I might consider this purchase a "win" but, sadly, no. The magnetic cap is a novel feature but the cap does not fit so tightly on the usb connector that it makes losing it less likely than any other cap from any other flash drive. I'll give you an update on it's alleged durability soon because I am about 30 seconds from whipping it across the room. That's about the only way I see this thing moving files "quickly".

I purchased this as a portable back up to my older 8GB flash drives.For such a small device this has behaved flawlessly, thus far.I did see a few reviews stating the device failed after a short time of use. But crossed fingers this little gem will hold out for quite some time.Only downside is that there is no ring to attach the drive to a keychain, etc. It has the magnetic cap which is helpful when not misplacing.

The drive is slow, but I bought it primarily for the magnet feature.

A Home Run with this. You know when y our USB 2 decides It does not want to work and you have to wait until It decides to come back I never had a problem with a Leef product USB 2 or USB 3 these rock!!! I would recommend theseIn a heartbeat.

Love the ascetics of Leef products. They are in a class of their own when it comes to USB drives.

This is a piece of CRAP! Save your money.....Not only does it not work it gets really HOT!

There are times when one of my computers will not show a USB device and I have to play around and sometime I have to wait before it decides It Is going to show drives. But never ever with a Leef device I now have 11 Leef devices and started to get them in USB 3 I also love the fact that the caps are magnetic and click right back on. I am stuck on them and would recommend Leef in a heartbeat.

A very nice little USB, very convenient, looks good, and works well.It is quite small so it is hard to keep track of because someone managed to steal my one (I miss it to this day).
