Dansk Bistro Cafe 5-Piece Place Setting, Service for 1, Silver -

I was simply adding a place setting. So, I have numerous pieces of this pattern. It is well made and cheap from Amazon. I like the design so well that I have Dansk Kobenstyle dishes. I highly recommend the Bistro pattern. It is hefty, well balanced and a great design.

I bought eight sets of this five-piece set and I'm in love with flatware. They're heavy, but not too heavy. They are simple and clean, elegant and lovely. Some other reviewers states that they are too large. They're of average size. I've washed them three times in the dishwasher and they look like they just came out of the box. Dansk is a quality name, and this set of flatware proves that point. So happy with this purchase!

I've been looking for "sharp" dinner knives and these fit the bill perfectly. Good weight and feel in the hand. I might have to buy the entire set ... If I was looking for what I consider a true steak knife though, I probably wouldn't choose these.

I did a lot of research and testing before deciding on buying this flatware to replace my cheap Target stuff. Even then I ordered one 5 piece set first to try out for a couple weeks before buying more. My husband and I love these!! They are heavy and durable and you can feel and see the quality of this silver and craftsmanship right away. They look great after going through the dishwasher many, many times now! I love how they look. Very modern, clean and classy. They could go casual or with China and still look just right! The balance of these pieces is spot on. The only niggle I have about them which is very minor is that depending on what you're eating, if you're trying to cut food with the fork and are not using a knife, the handle can feel a bit thin to get a good grip on for cutting, but I really had to stretch to find something I don't like about this flatware. We have since ordered many place settings worth and love them! I get compliments regularly.

I wanted a five piece set of flatware from a name brand whose product I would trust to be free of dangerous metals and whose pieces would be well made.And I didn’t want to spend more than 30 bucks.This is it.The knife has no serrated edge and a thinner handle just like the rest of the set does.It will work fine for cutting some foods but this won’t be cutting steaks or pork chops or even some denser vegetables unless they are very tender.For the rough stuff just get a steak knife.I might try sharpening part its edge.

These are lovely. I take my breakfast and lunch to work on a daily basis, but I hate plastic cutlery. Why not fancy it up and buy these for your lunches/breakfast? They are lovely, have a nice heft, and look very nice. Co-workers give me funny looks when I pull these out of my bag, but I feel like I'm having lunch at a fancy restaurant rather than having a home made salad. Gorgeous!

I purchased this elsewhere at a better price for everyday use, but wanted to alert those shopping to a few important details.1.The smaller spoons and forks are so miniscule that they seem better suited for an infant. I had to return them, because my family prefers to use the smaller pieces.2. They are not as heavy as people are saying. I Had been looking for completely solid handles with a rounded feel. These were flatter and lighter than expected. I ended up searching until I found our old favorites. (Purchased a place-setting for four 12 years ago, and I am happy to say they are still selling these: Hampton Forge Shangrila Frosted 20-Piece Flatware Set, 884L0202SAIf you are looking for the qualities listed above, l would recommend spending less and getting more. If you like a mid-weight flatware that has vast size difference between large and small pieces, with a nice shine, then go for it.

I just received 8 sets of this product and... very much satisfied at first sight. It looks modern and sleek, but is also good for formal dining. The knife is made of one piece of medal not with separate handles. I have searched for new sets of flatware for long and reviewed more than 20-30 popular products. I am very happy about my choce. Mine is made in Vietnam. I have not used them yet so I cannot say anything about the review about dishwashing or else.

These knives are not steak knives, these knives are butter knives . I had to purchase other knives which can cut meat. I use these knives only to butter my bagels.
