New Gain Matched Pair (2) Psvane 12AX7-T MKII Mark II Vacuum Tubes Ships from US

I purchased these for a Jolida JD-1501RC hybrid Tube/Solid state integrated amp. I have previously tried new Tung-Sol, new Sovtek, and new Mullards. The Mullards were best for my taste and system, as the others were very rolled off in the high frequencies. Better for guitar amps.So far, the Psvanes are about on a par with the Mullards. The sound quality is very good. I would say that the area of strength for the Psvanes is the mid-range richness. There is slightly more presence in this area. The bass is good, but not quite as tight and punchy as the Mullards. I find the highs to be similar with both, nice and smooth with good extension.Your mileage may vary, but these are nice tubes. I mark 4 stars because they are significantly more expensive than the Mullards and I am not sure I am hearing that magnitude of difference in the sound. That being said, they are not expensive compared to most NOS tubes, so there's that to consider.
