are euro crates a standard dimension so that different makes still stack together and are compatible with each other?

The standard Euro crate sizes are 200 x 150mm, 300 x 200mm, Half Size 400 x 300mm, Full size 600 x 400mm and 800 x 600mm sizes and are compatible with each other. Therefore if different manufacturers make crates in these sizes then they should stack together/be compatible provided the height is the same through out a layer of crates.
