Work great, no lingering odor
Every year I lose a few more articles of expensive clothing to moth damage. I finally decided to go to war. I put two of these in my fall/winter closet, and did not have any damage. I put in two more for the spring. It is overkill for the space, but I am done.I also got the balls and used them in zippable plastic storage bags and trunks.They don’t exactly smell like lavender, and they still stink, but the scent does not linger and airs out quickly.

Smells great!
These smell great! Very clean. If you have a smoker or other annoyance that reeks, you should invest in this item. It is surprisingly refreshing.

Please don’t buy this
I can’t say enough bad things about this item. First of all, three of the four were damaged in shipping such that they disintegrated as soon as I opened the individual packages. The package themselves were full of warnings about toxicity, and indeed, as soon as I opened them, the fumes made me physically ill. I did not bother to return them because I did not want them in my house while I waited for a return shipping label. I discarded them instantly. Stay away from this item; it’s really dreadful.

Where's the bloody "CONTAINER"?
My issue with this is that when you take them out of the wrapper, it says to put them in a container when you hang them. WHAT CONTAINER? Is there a container I missed? I will put them in a little pouch to hang them, and I expected the smell so that isn't a complaint, and even if they broke, they could still be used by being inventive and hanging a little baggie with holes in on the hanger, so my dissatisfaction is when they write in the directions to put the cakes in a CONTAINER, and I don't know if I was supposed to buy one that it fits, or what!?

Structural defect
Adequate size for price, actual lavender scent. Low score as the solid section falls off the very thin inadequate hanger. This disconnect happens soon as hung and to me renders the product void of initial purchase purpose. Do not recommend. Have not come up with a creative way to hang it.
