Oooommmmgggg I'm speechless
I love how the kids have bonded of the friendship of their father's. I've read this series so many times i never get tired. Aaliyah is nothing Like her mother and is too spoiled for her own good. Precious was down right grutter when she was younger but Aaliyah on the other hand is just naive and rebellious for the wrong reasons. I don't know if Amiir is ready to walk in his father shoes just yet. Poor Justine wants to be Aaliyah so bad that she's willing to lie just to take her down.

A New Beginning
OMG - If you thought the first Bitch series with Precious and Maya was a page turner, then you have no idea how Aaliyah, Precious's daughter; Maya's niece will keep this book glued to your hand 'til the end.Aaliyah, who is as beautiful as her mother and as captivating as both of her fathers, born into luxury and street royalty refuses to just live and enjoy the life she has. Instead, she is determined to do things her way and create her own path. Not realizing the dangers of some of her actions, this princess is not quite understanding why she has been told that the streets is not a game she should wish to play with. Doing what she wants she is also bringing her best friends, Amir and Justina, along on this rollercoaster. When the path starts spiraling out of control, you can always count on family to show up and make things straight again. But, will it be too late?Bitch - A New Beginning will have you planted in your seat, hurrying to get to the end just to see what will happen next. This rollercoaster ride from New York to LA will have you laughing, smiling, crying, cursing, yelling and still wanting more. In order to fully understand, you must start from the very beginning of the Bitch series. Trust me - you will NOT be disappointed.Deja King, aka Joy King, is not to be slept on. If you have not read any of her books, then you are truly missing out on a great author.

I've Read Better
I have read the whole Bitch series and was excited when the I found the series would now focus on Aaliyah. The book fell flat though. The story started off with a bang! Aaliyah calls Precious and informs her that she is in jail for murder. I'm thinking I'm about to read a juicy story...WRONG!The story was narrated by Aaliyah and Amir. Each chapter would be introduced with a paragraph about the present situation at hand, then pages of background information. This made the story not flow for me. Some of the background information was not needed. The story dragged. The last 2-3 chapters were okay, but too little, too late. Not sure if I am going to bother reading the rest of the books in this series. Deja, move on to new characters!

All in the family!
Ms. King has done it again! Aaliyah is so much like her mother Precious that it isnt funny, in a lot of ways they remind me of my daughter and myself. This child was a triple threat, she had her grandfather, her biological father and her stepfather (which she called daddy also) all in the game one way or another, which in some ways was good in others not at all. I was so hoping Aaliyah and Amir would get together that I could scream, this book will make you want to do just that. Just when you think you have it all figured out,, she changes up on you! All I can say is I hope Aaliyah starts to appreciate the people she has in her corner, and remember the old saying keep your friends close and your ememies closer. I cant wait for the next book to come out.

A Little Bit Of Both
Let me start off with I'm a hug fan of Deja King. I read all her books and thought how many authors can write 4 different series. then end them all in one book. I was very impressed with that. So now there's a New Bitch Series. Keeping it 100 I couldnt wait for the book to come. The way the last booked ended with Ailaya in jail. I just knew the next book was going to bring it. But like someone mention in another review we was still left with the same question WHO PUT HER IN JAIL AND WHY??? Dont get me wrong the book was good, I actually liked how they went back to the past because it showed what the kids been doing. Could the book been longer YES, could she have probably told us a little bit more YES. Was I pissed the way it ended YES. but I also understand thats how some authors do. Leave you wanting more so you can't wait until the next book. and I understand hey they have to make their money. so i'm not going to fault her for that. JDK you a good writer, keep doing you. could you make your book longer and not have so many series YES...smile...However it doesnt matter cause I'm read them anyways....lol...Hey just being honest...Then here's another thing. when I read a good book I love to pass it on. I tell anyone who listen about JDK books. But some feel it hard for them to follow the whole story because its so many books and characters involved. and I see she doing it again. with the new Bitch series and Rick or Famous.
