I have tried a number of disc brands (such as Black & Decker, 3M, and Diablo) and have found there are always trade-offs. Discs are either unreasonably expensive, or have one or more problems such as: poor quality abrasive that crumbles off the paper, cheap loop-backing that disintegrates and clogs up the hook surface on my sander, flimsy paper that rips off as soon as you snag on a splinter, or they simply don't last very long. I ordered a box of 50 for both the 80 grit and 120 grit Dura-Gold discs, and although they certainly aren't the highest quality available, I think you'll be hard-pressed to find a better value. The abrasive is well adhered to the paper (I've yet to have a single grain of it remain on a work-piece), the hook-and-loop connection is solid, the paper is strong and resistant to tearing, and they last a reasonably long time. ~32¢ per disc is a better price than anything I've ever bought at a hardware store, and they provide the sort of performance and durability that you would expect from much pricier disks.

The sandpaper worked well on my Porter Cable sander and got the job done. It is 80 grit which I needed to get saw mill marks out of rough cut lumber. Just wish it would have lasted longer. Had to change the disc every 15-20 minutes. Could be the way I sand but that's not going to change!

The pad on my sander is getting warn, so the fact that these were able to hold on seems like a good sign to me. But what I am more sure about, is these last much longer than other cheap brands I have bought. Studies show that you get what you pay for in sandpaper, but I'm often using mine to sand down a paint finish, epoxy, or other materials that tend to load the paper quickly. So I like to buy cheap and replace as needed. I will be sticking to this brand for my sanding needs. I do use the sandpaper eraser to make these last longer, I highly recommend that for the frugal as well!

This is really good sandpaper. The 80 takes off more material than the 60 I bought of the cheaper product. Definitely prefer this one over the reddish colored one on here.

Decent quality. Compared to Diablo brand, I would say these are almost as good, but wear out just a little faster maybe. Would definitely buy these again, especially for the very reasonable price. Used to strip paint from siding with a rotary sander.
